Welcome. In front of me I have the brand new
0:09
Xiaomi 11T Pro and today I'll go over unboxing along with a quick overview of this
0:15
device with some specs of it obviously. So anyway let's just pop it open there is no
0:20
like neat pool tab like we have on Apple devices so that's a little bit of a shame
0:24
so I have a little knife right here to pop it open go
0:30
Just rip that off, eat that this side, and we also have some little
0:37
show me stickers right here to show that it's basically brand new, hasn't been opened
0:43
I'm just going to cut these, there we go, and I'll actually get into it
0:49
So nothing on the top of the box, then in here we get paperwork and probably a case
0:58
Yep, and there's a case. No one cares about the paperwork, I'm just going to leave it in here
1:04
I'm going to take out the case. Then we get the phone itself
1:08
Okay, take it out without actually needing to rip it off
1:18
Nope, okay, anyway. Now I do have to mention right before I get started, this box is probably one of the heaviest boxes I had
1:28
and I assume it has to do something with this hilarious brick
1:35
Yeah, this thing has some heft to it. So obviously there's also a cable for it
1:42
but as you've probably seen, this is an 120 watt charger. And if you watched their press conference
1:49
or press conference or whatever you want to call it, where they introduced their new chargers
1:55
there were, I remember I found it really funny because they were kind of like saying oh we don't call our charge charging
2:02
fast charging we call it show me super charging something something it was just
2:07
kind of like way too many words for such a simple feature of just charging at a
2:13
faster rate but yeah as you can see the brick is absolutely huge right here and the
2:24
back looks like it's plastic I guess that kind of explains why the
2:27
phone is at a lower price than I would have expected it
2:31
I also have a triple camera setup at the back and let me just power it on so you can see
2:35
the front. Obviously the screen at the front is just a flat display
2:40
It's not curved in any way as you can see. Personally I prefer to have my screens curved
2:45
I just kind of how I like it This one has just like some sharp edges right here because it is Honestly it seems like it made on a budget with premium components in the way
2:56
Because the phone is running a snapdog in 888. It has an amyloid display but just you can see it isn't a plastic body basically
3:11
So they did some cast coding tool actually approached this like $600, 700,000 or $700
3:16
dollar price range that they have right here. Let's see exactly because I don't remember exactly how much was it
3:23
It is $660. So yeah, this thing is absolutely dirt cheap considering what it offers
3:32
So I quickly go to the setup and while I'm doing that I'm also going to go over the specs of it
3:38
So the screen right here that you're looking at is a 6.67 inch display
3:43
It's a 1080p by 2400. Amelad Dolby Vision display and it apparently
3:51
boasts a one billion colors right here so whoops you do I probably won't
3:58
see that the actual benefit of more colors so yeah it says
4:04
that it has it I guess I'm just going to have to believe it additionally it has
4:09
a 120 hertz refresh rate and has HDR 10 plus obviously because of that
4:14
Amelette display peaks at about 1,000 nits brightness and at the front we have a gorilla glass evictus as a screen or glass itself
4:24
so that's basically all we get about this screen itself and then if we move over to the camera setup while this is loading
4:32
we have triple camera setup as we've already seen so now we have a main sensor which is a 108 megapixel white sensor
4:39
then we got an 8 megapixel ultra wide and 5 megapixel telephoto slash macro lens
4:44
so it looks like it doubles as both. So the camera setup here is quite nice
4:51
And at the front, we have a 16 megapixel wide. Now when it comes on to video shooting right here with the back sensors
4:58
you can shoot at actually 8K, which I don't mind blowing at that point right now
5:04
So yeah, 8K adds 30 frames, and if you drop it to 4K, you basically get 30 and 60 frames
5:11
And if you drop it to 1080p, you get basically everything that you possibly can
5:14
and 30, 60, 120. I believe 120 is just a normal recording
5:18
but then if we go to 240, that's slow motion, and 960, obviously, slow motion
5:24
And this is still loading apps. So I'm going to keep on going
5:29
Like I mentioned before, Snapdragon 888. There is two versions of this device
5:34
which I have right here, which one do I actually have. This one is the 8 gigabyte with 256 gig storage So this is the mid basically Because we have 128 as a base 128 gigabyte storage with 8 gigabytes of RAM
5:51
and you can boast it up to 256. And then if you want, you can also keep that 256 and also get 12 gigs of RAM
5:58
But with 12 gigs of RAM, there is only one storage, which is a 256
6:02
For 120 and 128 and 256 you have... gigabytes just for 256 you have 12 there we go it actually finally loaded
6:13
swipe oh it looks like now every phone does the same thing as iOS does okay
6:23
as you can see if you swipe from right side you get the or toggles and if you swipe from the other side you get the notifications
6:32
okay not necessarily the biggest fan of copying apple but Oh well, that seems to work, so I guess that's good
6:41
So anyway, moving on to the storage, basically all the storages right here are running a UFS at 3.01 storage
6:49
so you should get basically almost the best storage speeds you possibly can on a phone
6:55
only beaten by Apple. And lastly, battery right here is 5,000-mph hour battery
7:05
and obviously we have that whopping 120 watt brick so yeah and that should give you what they claim 100% in 17 minutes
7:17
Jesus that is insane to be honest in 17 minutes you can charge from nothing to 100% that is crazy
7:26
anyway let's oh actually I'm going to also mention one additional thing which I kind of didn't
7:34
but it is, in my opinion, quite important. This is a $660 phone
7:41
which comes with basically top specs and a freaking charger and not a puny-crapy-crapy-ass charger
7:49
like Samsung includes or Apple. Wait, well, they don't include chargers anymore
7:54
but when they did, these chargers paled in comparison what you get right here
7:58
This is 120 watts. This thing blows any charger out of the water
8:03
and it comes with the device included in the price and it comes cheaper than any other device
8:12
Okay, why is no one else doing that? Everybody's so greedy for money apparently
8:19
Oh well, but anyway, concluding this in a way, obviously the phone is in the middle spot
8:29
It is a flagship in a way but with budget components against oh cast cutting so plastic basically everything that they possibly could apart from the screen apparently does have aluminium frame though to be fair this doesn
8:43
really seem like an aluminium frame oh no it is actually my bad yeah that is
8:47
aluminium frame so we have aluminium frame it looks like plastic back it says that
8:52
it's glass but let me just kind of get something metal as an example
8:59
No, that actually is glass. Okay. So I was actually wrong about it
9:04
This device isn't necessarily the budget of flagship. This is actually fairly decent device
9:12
Now I will be honest, I don't really like the back. It looks kind of cheap and cheesy
9:17
Kind of like it's straight out of like 2010. So it's not the best, best look. Glass with this kind of like brushed aluminum look to it
9:28
because it's kind of how it looks like. So yeah, I'm not exactly a fan of this, but other than that the device basically is just
9:35
freaking amazing. Really amazing specs, basically top of the line, decent or decent basically one of the best storages
9:45
with UFS 3.1, decent storage sizes right here, most likely expendable using an SD card
9:52
I'm going to quickly check that because I actually haven't. Where is it
9:57
I actually might be wrong about the expendable storage. Yep, I am wrong about the expendable storage
10:03
So we don't have expendable storage here, unfortunately. Now it's a little bit of a shame
10:08
But still, for the price of this comes in, I can't really think about anything else that would beat this device
10:15
Obviously, most likely the cameras here won't outperform things like Xiaomi or Huawei, but these are still decent cameras
10:24
And for the price that you pay, this phone is, I think, unbeatable at the moment
10:31
Like, the value that you get here is just right at the top
10:35
There is basically nothing better for the value that you pay. 120 watts charger, Snobdrague 98, decent camera, amazing display
10:46
The only thing that it lacks in that price range, or, well, not really in that price range
10:51
but and like the features is just an under-display fingerprint sensor because it is side mounted instead
10:58
But other than that, this phone is just smashing it. Damn, this is a really amazing phone
11:04
So yeah, highly recommend it if you're looking for a really good device. Amazing value
11:10
