Welcome. And for me I have the Vivo Y-76 and today I'll show you an unboxing along with a quick overview spec list view of the actual phone. So anyway let's just get started
0:30
I'll have I'm gonna
1:30
Okay, so that's basically all we had in the box. As you can see, all the accessories right over here
1:41
We get some headphones which are just a normal jack, which we do actually have a headphone
1:49
jack right here on the phone. We do have the charging brick and that is a 404 watt charger, which you can see right over
1:58
here. It's a decent charger. And we got a charging cable type A to type C. Okay, and that's about it
2:07
Now when it comes onto the phone itself, this right here screen is a 6.58 inch display
2:17
It's a 1080p by 2408 pixels. The 08 just kind of seems weird
2:28
This is an IPS LCD display, so nothing really special, with a typical brightness of 460 nets
2:36
So it won't be anything like super bright of a display, so keep that in mind
2:40
Obviously outdoors and like direct sunlight, the device might struggle a little bit with like the brightness section
2:49
So it might be harder to actually see the screen. Anyway, apart from the display, which just what I would classify as mediocre, we have a 50 megapixel camera at the back as a main shooter
3:05
and we also have a 2 megapixel macro and 2 megapixel depth sensor
3:09
So technically we only have one camera. The two other ones are just sticker cameras which shouldn be encountered for anything valuable It basically manufacturer way of thinking that their customers are absolute effing morons and just including two cameras that you can really utilize
3:27
The depth sensor is used by, for instance, modes like portrait, usually, not always
3:33
Sometimes I encounter that it doesn't use it at all. And because of that, if you're taking a
3:39
portrait, portrait modes usually try to fake the bouquet effect, so like the blur background kind of
3:45
thing and it uses that two megapixel depth camera to define, well obviously the depth
3:51
but because it's only at two megapixels, usually it ends up looking absolutely garbage
3:57
where for instance, like if you look at around the head area, you have like massively weird
4:03
blur to the point that it kind of looks like a, just a radius where it just isn't focused
4:10
and then outside of the focus. It looks absolutely horrible. And we can quickly capture a photo right here, though this fake plant right here probably won't be the best subject
4:22
just because it doesn't have any kind of like things like, for instance, hair would, just weird strands and stuff like that
4:28
But could probably still get a look at how it performs. So this is using the portrait mode
4:40
and apart from edges looking really weird in terms of colors and I don't know why but it just looks weird all around
4:56
like the texture around here is a little bit different it almost looks like it's
5:01
oil painting instead of looking like this so that's a little bit weird
5:09
I don't I do see a little bit of like weird blur around here
5:17
although this could be the plant and like the perspective so other than not it looks okay
5:24
I mean to be fair nothing really looks okay in this kind of photo
5:30
so before I go any further just kind of ragging on some of the things
5:37
right here and maybe praising I'll mention that this phone comes at over 300 euros and at that price range it's not a budget phone anymore, it's more of a mid-range
5:49
And this camera doesn't even come close to like good mid-range phones that come at this price range
5:57
So yeah, the portrait right here was absolutely horrendous. Let's just look at the normal photo mode
6:08
Yeah, normal photo mode looks just as bad
6:19
Hopefully this will look a little bit better and maybe a differently lit environment outside
6:24
But then we're basically looking at like brightly lit outside environment which is what I would consider a
6:32
optimal case scenario and at that point any camera can do good
6:37
So yeah at this point I don know this camera is a little bit underwhelming for the price So moving on Another thing here is the front camera which is a 16 megapixel sensor shoots up 1080p 30 frames
6:56
The back ones can also shoot at 1080p 30 frames. So you don't even get the 60 frames
7:00
Nor do you get any kind of high refresh rate on the display at 300 euro range
7:05
which I'm pretty sure there are phones that already have like 90, its refresh rate. That price range. So again, kind of questionable here. Additionally, we have
7:18
Demensity 700. So this is a 5G chipset and it comes with 8 gigs of RAM. It's not going to be anything
7:27
like super powerful of a chipset, so keep that in mind. And additionally, we have a 4,100 million
7:35
power battery with that 44 watt charter. It should be charging fairly quickly. So this is what I would consider some of the like key specifications
7:45
of this phone and just to kind of clarify some of them. The battery here is okay. The processor is just
7:52
mediocre the best. Ram amount I would say it's good. Cameras are bad and display is again a little
8:01
bit underwhelming considering the price and all that considered and put into one package I don't think this
8:08
phone is worth over 300 euros so that is something that I would consider just try to look for
8:17
different devices maybe you can look for new devices at this price range there are most certainly
8:23
better phones out there I can't really think of like any phone on top of my head right now
8:29
with like the name of them so so sorry for that but I know that there are other ones I do unboxing
8:38
of these devices. So I know for a fact that I did come across one, but like I said, I just
8:44
can't really remember all the phones from top of my head, so forgive me for that
8:51
Now, additional thing that I'll also add is the reason to go for a phone like that is most likely
8:58
strictly because of the 5G. And at least where I live, which is Poland, 5G isn't as developed
9:06
as you probably might be, for instance, in like US. So if you're looking at this device in less developed countries like I have right here
9:18
then I probably wouldn't even consider this phone at all. At this point, at least in my case, 5G is kind of useless to the majority of the people here
9:30
And if you're planning to get a phone with 5G, you might as well go for like a flagship or not at all
9:36
of these that's my perspective and the reason for this is with a mid-range or budget phones it's
9:43
mostly irrelevant and particularly with budget devices but this is in my opinion closer to a budget
9:51
phone with a high top price so with that in mind for devices like this by the time the ecostructure
9:58
for the 5g is developed enough this phone will be outdated so you paid for a specifically 5G device that in this case this specific one only as a only redeemable quality is the 5G that you will most likely never really get to use
10:14
and that's full potential. So it's hard to recommend a phone like that, especially when you can, for instance
10:22
buy a used phone for significantly less. And we're talking about like 100 to maybe 200 euros
10:31
And those phones will be basically flagship great, but older ones. Now personally, I'm going to give just an example of my phone, which I use
10:43
And even though I bought it as a brand new phone back when it was released
10:48
this is the Mate 20 Pro. It was a Huawei's flagship. I know Huawei's are dead right now, but the kind of idea still stands for comparing it here
10:57
So as an example, M820 Pro and even the P30 Pro, which are basically their two latest flagships that still had the Google Services
11:07
Right now, we'll come at below 250 euros in basically mint condition
11:12
where it was basically kept in cases and screen protectors and all that stuff
11:17
So it's going to be in perfect condition. Costs significantly less. In terms of Huawei specifically, have mind-blowingly better cameras
11:27
than what you can get here. And in terms of performance, you still will get basically better performance
11:34
than you get with this, well, off right here, demand 70, 700
11:39
So, again, those are just like the key parts, and then you get everything that normally you get with flagship
11:46
So in case of like the Mate 20 Pro, I get underfinger display sensor
11:50
I get wireless charging, or also I get, because that's about it from what I can actually freely
11:57
like point out. Obviously the entire phone is just significantly better apart from
12:02
lacking the 5G connectivity. Another great probably alternative would be something like a
12:10
one plus. I think one plus seven pro was the latest phone that boasted a better refresh rate. At this
12:17
point it should also be cheaper and like I said this is as an alternative to for people that
12:23
don't really need the 5G. For everybody else that has the ecostructure for the 5G
12:31
your country does have a developed one for that. Then I probably would recommend going for a little bit of a better device with 5G instead of this
12:42
This is kind of like the bare minimum. It has nothing what I would be looking for in a device that is being purchased right now
12:49
in the year 2022. It lacks a decent display. lacks high refresh weight. The battery size is okay, the charging is okay, but the processor is
12:59
me. The cameras are again garbage and it costs too much for what it offers. That's basically
13:06
what it boils down to. It's too expensive for what it offers. So anyway, that being said
