Welcome
0:08
I'm for me, I have the Real Me 9, and today I'll show you, or go through, I guess, unboxing
0:15
along with a quick overview of the device itself. So before I actually do anything, I'm going to touch upon a couple things that we can see at the back
0:23
So we have a 108 megapixel triple camera setup, though that's not really true
0:29
We only have one camera at 108 megapixels, don't let this fool you
0:33
We got a Snapdragon 680, so at least that's nice that we got a Snapdragon, 90 Hertz super Ammelet display, that's quite okay, and 5,000 m.r
0:44
Our battery. Now the version of the phone that I have right here is going to be the Meteor Black, 8 gigs of RAM, and 128 gigs of storage
0:54
So anyway, I just pop it up. Actually, I'm going to start off from here
1:13
Hey, welcome to Real Me family. Yes, I feel very welcomed. Now, because this is Reolmi and here, you might expect a case
1:23
as it's, I guess, custom for real me to include. Really nice
1:30
Now this one is more of a brownish color, which usually they provide clear ones
1:34
so I wonder how that will actually look on a device. And then underneath that, we get the phone itself
1:53
Oh, come on. Real Me. Are you serious? There we go. Now the finish looks really nice on the device, I will have to admit
2:10
Anyway, let's keep on going. Now additionally, because this is also Real Me, we get a charger, and this is not just some charger that can laugh at
2:19
Usually they do include a good one. So let's see what we get in here
2:25
Where is it? This is a barely visible, right the last line, last little writing right here
2:37
which I can't even focus on. This is a 33-watt charger. Like I said, a charger that you won't be really laughing at or replacing
2:44
It's a good charger. Then we get a type C to type A charging cable for the charter
2:50
and that's all we get, which should be talking about. it's enough. Now moving on to the phone itself which I should have turned on
2:57
probably when I took it out of the little bag. There we're gonna power it on. So
3:04
like it was written on the box it's a super Amoilet display with a 90 Hertz
3:08
refresh rate and it has a peak or not big but typical brightness of 430 nits It peaks at 1 nits so it should be a device that can use comfortably outside And come on Oh for the love of God get on there
3:34
There we go, one side, only one left. There we go. So, like I was saying about the display
3:45
1,000 nits peak brightness. It has a 84.2% screen-to-body ratio with a 411 pixels per inch
3:57
And obviously the resolution is 1080p by 2400 with a display size at 6.4
4:04
Now quickly checking these boxes, there we go. We can move over to the next page
4:08
And just finishing on the display itself, right here the display is actually quite nice
4:15
I probably would have liked to see a higher refresh rate on a display, but honestly, 90 Hertz, I guess might be like the sweet spot
4:26
It is much smoother than 60, but also will, I guess, keep your battery a little bit in like a better state
4:34
120 will consume more battery over like the 60 or 90s. Oh yeah
4:41
Now once the setup is finished, I'm going to touch upon the cameras at the back
4:45
So let's flip it over. And as you can see, we have a triple camera setup
4:53
There we go. So triple camera set up, and we're looking at, like I said
4:57
108 megapixel white sensor. This is the main one. And like the box said, it's not triple 100, all of them
5:06
It's just a single one. And the next one is 8 megapixel ultra-wide. And then we got an insulting 2 megapixel macro
5:12
So actually, that's all the cameras you get without this one. The reason why I say this is 2 megapixel macro is absolutely garbage
5:19
There is no reason for it to be included, and here especially when you get 108 megapixel wide sensor
5:26
The reason for that is I'm actually just not going to explain it, I'm going to show it
5:29
Everybody just likes to see things, so... Let's turn on our macro quotation mark
5:39
Oh, it's... Oh, they have the audacity to call it ultra macro
5:45
Okay, yeah, sure. No, I'm just gonna grab this. Trying to find like a good angle where, I don't know, does something good
6:05
Gonna try to capture like a fake leaf right here. Okay, that's as close as I can get, which is for an ultra macro, absolutely
6:15
disappointing. Now I will do another thing which I don't know why I put that away, which is I'm going to turn off the ultra macro. I'm going to go again to more and select
6:28
let's see pro I guess so the the hundred and eight megapixel two times zoom Let go Okay let compare these two
6:55
So the first one you will see is what I assume is the 108 megapixel
7:00
Let me actually quickly check details. looking at a resolution oh where the heck is it oh there we go 4,000 by
7:10
3,000 actually that is not even a that is not even a hundred and eight megapixel
7:14
this is not the actual like full resolution I think of this of this lens so
7:21
there is most likely somewhere else a setting for this where we can utilize like
7:30
the full full sensor Though honestly at this point it won't really matter because this is the hundred and
7:38
oh this is the pro mode I guess we can call it so you can zoom in I guess that close right
7:46
and you can see quite a decent amount of detail right here I'm gonna max it out just so it's a
7:51
little bit better but you can see like fibers on the fake plant a little bit and you can see kind
7:56
of like weird things and like the mold and stuff like that which now let's move over to the
8:03
other, the super macro, which is this one. And boy oh boy, is it garbage
8:11
Now the phone didn't dim, the photo is that dark. And yet, if I can zoom in, you can see that there is literally no detail in here
8:20
It's kind of like a blurry mess compared to what the 108 megapixel did
8:25
without even, I think, capturing at 108 megapixels. So yeah, like I said, this lens is absolutely trash
8:32
trash, it's said that companies keep including this dog shit here, and this absolute dog water
8:39
with your phone, which you do have to pay for. So yeah, don't use the macro
8:45
Use the 108 megapixel sensor, just the white one. Do a two-time zoom
8:49
It's basically lost less, so you get full quality of the sensor, yet you'll get much more detail
8:57
than the macro can provide. So anyway, now that I decided to completely rag on one of the sensors right here, the wide one obviously will do a good job
9:09
It's 109 megapixels and it seems to be doing quite okay, at least for what I use this for a plant
9:16
Now let's move over to the next part, which is the internals of the device. So again, like on the box was said, it's running a Snapdragon 680
9:26
Now this is only a 4G chip set, so you're not getting any kind of 5G connectivity right here
9:32
If that is a device that you're looking for with 5G, this one does not have it
9:37
Probably should have maybe started with this. But yeah, moving on, we have a couple versions of storage, exactly two
9:46
Both of them have 128 gigs of actual physical storage, but we also have 6 or 8 gigs of RAM
9:54
And both of those are using UFS 2 storage So it not going to be anything like super fast but it still going to be better than like for instance older devices with their like just kind of crappy storages This is I guess like behind 3 or MVME that iPhones use So it still respectable for the price
10:18
And lastly we get a 5,000 million power battery. Advertised charging speeds right here are 50% in 31 minutes or 100
10:26
and 75. Now this is advertised, so keep that in mind. It could be faster, it could be slower. I would probably lean towards slower usually, so that's that
10:38
And what else is there to say? We are probably getting an underfinger display sensor because I don't see any kind of sensors on the back. I'm gonna quickly check that out. If we do that, it's actually quite surprising
10:56
Whoops. Chop, chop
11:06
Yep, we have underfinger display sensor. I'm going to set it up right now just to see how quick it actually works
11:13
Considering this is a more of a, I would say, mid-range device usually, or usually..
11:20
Sometimes those sensors don't really work that well, so let's see how well this one works
11:25
We go added. Not the fastest, but also not the slowest
11:38
Works fairly good. Obviously if you put your finger on the sensor
11:43
There we go. Also, my finger might have debris and it's still unlocking the phone without any problem
11:50
That's also really nice. Something that, for instance, my phone that I use on a daily basis
11:55
struggles where I will have just a tiny, tiniest bit of dust maybe and it just fails to unlock
12:03
This one seems to just blast through it. So that's good. Anyway, finishing this off, the overview of the phone, I would say that it honestly seems to be fairly good
12:16
It runs as smooth. It's running a Snapdragon, which I would personally prefer over, like, Demensity or other ones
12:22
it lacks in 5G so that might be a bummer for some people
12:26
it has a decent display a fairly good display decent battery a decent charger
12:31
you get a case underfinger display sensor a decent main camera I'm not touching upon the two other ones
12:38
and yeah honestly this is a fairly fairly well-rounded phone it's obviously not going to break your bank
12:46
you obviously because of that won't be getting like flagship specs and features right here
12:52
don't expect that but what you get is I would say what you paid for so yeah it's a
13:00
fairly beautiful I would basically say so yeah anyway if you found this video helpful
