Welcome
0:07
I'm from is a Real Me 9T and today I'll show you a couple tweaks and tricks you can do on this phone
0:15
So we're going to start up settings and going into the dark mode under display
0:22
So you do have the typical light and dark mode which you can toggle on or off depending how you like it
0:29
which you do also have is the scheduled dark mode which I would consider to be a better
0:33
alternative than just flipping it permanently on to one of the modes
0:38
So here you will be able to set up basically a time at which the phone will switch to dark
0:44
mode and then back to light mode. Meaning that during the daytime you can have light mode and during the night time you can
0:51
have dark mode. Basically giving you best of both worlds unlike some other devices that you support tuggling
0:59
it on or off. So here you have the alternative to set it as a schedule, which in my opinion
1:05
does help a lot, especially like during night. You don't have to fiddle around, change it
1:10
It just automatically is in what I would call desired mode. So your irises aren't being blasted
1:15
away with pure white light. So I recommend setting it up as a schedule. It works great
1:23
Now moving on to the next option, it's going to be the full screen display. At least that's what
1:28
it's called here and reality what you should probably call it is gesture navigation
1:33
which means it will remove the buttons from the bottom so the recent home or no recent home and
1:39
back and substitute them for actual gestures now to enable this we will need to go to additional
1:46
settings so let's go into settings right here additional settings and full-screen
1:52
display and you'll have full-screen gestures Now we do have the learn option here if you setting it up for the first time So you can go to the learn process I quickly show you what it is all about
2:08
So swipe up quickly to go home, swipe up and hold to go to recent
2:15
and then swipe from either side to go back. And there we go. We're done
2:24
Now I will give you additional tip on on the gesture navigation and how to get it working basically all the time
2:32
So you don't have any kind of problems where you just can't go home as an example
2:37
So when you're trying to do the gesture, for instance, like the home gesture when you swipe up
2:42
don't swipe on the screen up. Start swiping off of the screen onto it
2:48
So normally people sometimes try to do it from the screen and the fun things that you're just trying to swipe up like this
2:55
So by swiping it straight from the bezel. up you will basically get the gesture now the reason why I just kind of
3:04
failed the first time I do have a screen protection it starts literally on the screen so and the phone didn't really feel getting onto it like when I when
3:14
my finger enters the actual screen portion but yeah that's that's a little
3:19
tip that I can give you to get it working correctly now moving on to the
3:25
next option is the light mode now this is more catering to elderly people that will struggle with using the actual full potential
3:35
of the device. So let me just quickly go into these settings again, or not again, but it's actually going
3:41
to be in special features, so let me just find that. There we go, special features
3:50
And we have a light more right here. As you can see, it does give us a little visual indication on how it will change the actual
3:57
appearance so turn it on give it a moment and there we go we are now in a light mode as you can see by default it does remove a lot of the applications that were on the second page and it also shortens your notifications or toggles in the
4:16
notifications to basically like I said cater to elderly people so the phone becomes a little
4:22
bit more simple you have primarily on the first page things that majority of the people
4:27
will need and honestly not much more so as you can see have gallery weather music play
4:34
store settings security phone messages and camera now there's a couple things that i would consider
4:40
elderly people not not being in a need of so as an example probably music or security or maybe
4:49
play store personally from my experience with my grandma's an example she doesn't really find
4:57
doesn't really understand how the device works so just giving her the bare minimum seems to be
5:03
good enough for her now she does usually on more apps but i will be in charge of installing those so
5:09
yeah um now anyway i once too done with this mode we can just turn it off by going again to special
5:18
features going back to the light mode and turning it off now this will go back to well making
5:23
everything look as it did before and from here you can move straight to another one, another mode, which is the game turbo, or tweak I should
5:32
probably say. So game turbo, which again, it's going to be in the settings and special features
5:38
so just where we're right about here. And let's just agree here. Now, unfortunately, as you can
5:45
see, I have no games, but if I did, they would be visible right here. And what this mode does
5:51
is boost the performance of a game by, for instance, lowering or lowering or turning off
5:57
apps that are running in the background. Additionally, it allows you to do a couple things
6:01
with notifications and how people can or how phone actually interacts with the game So as an example if someone messages you calls you you can set it up so that the device basically rejects those calls and you are not being interrupted while you play
6:16
something. So it just starts a little bit of an extra touch-toe just playing games on your phone
6:22
It makes it a little bit better. And lastly, what I will show you is the split screen. So this
6:29
will simply allow you to multitask with two different applications. And it is a fairly simple option
6:34
open up and app that you want to split screen with. Let's go with YouTube
6:44
Apparently I don't have internet, but whatever. It still will work. So once it's open, you want to top on recent
6:51
And I believe you grab it. There we go. So you tap right at the top right here on the split screen
6:58
And then you grab the app that you want to split screen with
7:03
Drop it on there. and from here you can also open another app that is in your recent
7:07
or you can click on home and just find the application that you want to split screen
7:11
from your home screen so find a app, tap on it as well and there you
7:17
Now the benefit of opening up something like YouTube and split screen is the fact that you can actually listen to music or whatever
7:25
You can also shrink it. So you can listen to music while browsing the web right below
7:31
And even if you go home like this, this will not pause your YouTube video
7:36
It will continue to play in the background, basically. Now, once you're done with this model, you want to close it
7:42
You can top right here to go back to the split screen, I believe
7:47
Oh, so never mind. We do have the exit option right here, but we can also just wipe it completely out, and this will close it
7:56
Now, that being said, if you found any of those tweaks or tricks helpful, don't forget
8:01
I'd like, subscribe and thanks for watching
