In front of Ik Me is an Apo Renae 3 and today I'll show you a couple tweaks and tricks that I can do on this device
0:13
So starting off we're going to begin with the dark mode so we can pull down the notification panel
0:17
and you'll have the dark mode toggle somewhere in here. Now your position of this toggle might vary depending if you have moved some toggle or if the phone added some
0:26
but that's where it is for me you can also see the other page maybe it's over there
0:31
so from there top on it that's this little animation and bam we're now in dark mode
0:36
and you can see it based on the fact that everything is now in dark mode and I
0:40
believe that also includes applications as you can see now not all applications will
0:45
be supported by this so just keep that in mind but all the ones that come
0:50
preloaded with the device so like messages your phone app settings all that will
0:56
or should be in dark mode now and if you want to leave this mode all you need to do is just
1:01
toggle that back off and there we go we're back in light mode so moving on we're going to go
1:08
into the home screen layout which will just allow you to pack more apps on the screen so keep
1:14
in mind right here we have entire screen full of apps a couple of them right here so if we go
1:22
to settings from there we're going to go into the home screen
1:26
go home screen and from here we should have home screen layout there we go
1:32
so as you can see we right now 4x6 so let pop that up to 5 by 6 and this previously was filled with apps as you remember and now we have enough space to add about
1:47
5, 6 more apps I believe let's see if we can okay so it gives you an animation how to select
2:00
okay so that's kind of what I want to do see if I can move them all
2:07
okay so it looks like one too many so as you can see you can fit more apps on here
2:20
and once you're done just top on the home and it goes back
2:24
so moving on we're gonna go into swipe down for notification panels
2:30
now this I personally really like like it will remove that need for you to go straight up to the top to pull down
2:37
notification panel so you'll be able to do it from anywhere on the screen now
2:42
this will remove this option right here for the search so if you want this
2:48
you will I guess have to choose I what is better for you I personally don't
2:54
really care for the search so let's go into the settings and from there we're
2:58
going to go into again home screen and swipe down on on a home screen to notification center
3:06
Go back and now we get notification when we swipe down. So you don't actually have to go all the way to the top to do it anymore, which I personally
3:13
just find more useful Then moving on next thing that I going to show is the animation speed Now as you can see this is the normal animation speed
3:26
and some of those animations, in my opinion, are a little bit slow, which I don't like wasting time looking at apps zooming in and out
3:36
So to change this, what we need to do is go into the settings. And from there, we're going to find about phone
3:44
and then build number which should be somewhere here I hope let's see build number there we go so tap on this this operation that will
3:59
okay so it looks like I already have enabled the developer options but if you
4:04
probably won't have it so what you want to do is go into the version right here and about phone and top on that seven times or basically tell you to have the message that you're in
4:14
a developer and now what we need to do is actually find the developer
4:18
developers which probably will be in the additional settings probably there we go there it is developer options stop on it scroll past like halfway and we
4:32
should find somewhere in here animation speed so there we go if window
4:37
animation scale a transition animation scale and animation duration scale so again
4:42
stop on it select 0.5 and this will decrease the animation speed by half so they will be twice as fast now
4:51
or you can set it to off if you just want to completely remove the animation and have everything appear instantly so i going to go with the off This is an example And now as you can see there is no more zooming animations
5:05
They just instantly pop into view. And moving on to the last thing that I wanted to show is just a simple split screen
5:14
which will allow you to use two different apps at the same time. So let's open up something like a web browser
5:19
And no thanks, we're not interested in anything. and then I'm going to recent
5:25
top on 2d2 dots right here and top on split screen and it opens up the first app always on the top
5:33
minimizes it so you can pick additional up from your phone so we could select something like a YouTube
5:43
if I can find it quick enough go at the bottom and you can use two different apps at the same time
5:52
for some productivity. Or if you like to listen to, for instance, music on YouTube
5:57
you can do that and still actually use your phone and not be allowed to that app. And when you close it
6:03
if you tap on home button, you can see that it goes back to how it was. So to close it, tap on this bar on here
6:10
It will go to full screen, obviously, right here, as we've just seen. And from there, tap on home once more
6:15
and this will close it. So this would conclude all the tweaks and tricks that I wanted to share
6:20
and if you found this very helpful, don't forget to head like, subscribe and thanks for watching
