Infoom is a Motorola Moto G9 power and today I will share a couple tweaks and tricks you can do on this device
0:15
And starting off we're going to begin with the Moto app right over here which contains several useful functions actually
0:24
So you can top on at three bars right there and we have the personalized tab which is basically
0:29
which is basically just teaming your device, changing wallpapers and stuff like that
0:33
So that is less interesting. But then we have gestures right over here. And we have a couple different useful gestures
0:39
So we have swipe to split screen. So we have basically, what is it
0:46
select up split screen to swipe back and forth. So you can basically swipe to enable split screen, pick up to silence
0:54
So when someone is calling you pick up to basically silence it. You can flip over the device for Do Not Disturb mode, a lift to unlock
1:04
Although I'm not sure how this one would work, considering you might set up a screen lock
1:09
and in this case it should prevent it from unlocking. Then we also have a three-finger screenshot, a fast flash fight with shaking, which is this one is kind of useful
1:19
I would say very useful. I really like this one. And then we also have a quick capture
1:24
which basically allows you to twist your wrist twice to quickly open it
1:28
up the camera. This one is not so okay. I'll probably disable this one actually
1:36
But personally the flashlight is one of the better ones so if I lock it and flip it over
1:41
you can already see that was locked right And there we go As you can see it now on Shake it vigorously again and it simply turns it off So a fairly nice option
1:59
But as can see, there's a couple other ones. Now we can also go into some display section
2:04
which is another thing that I want to show right here. And it's the attentive display right in the middle here
2:10
So let's allow it. Yep, let's turn it on. So basically it wants
2:17
to see okay now we go so the way this works as if you're looking at the device
2:26
it will use the front camera to determine if you are looking at it or if you're not
2:30
and as long as you are looking at it no matter what your screen timer is set to
2:36
it will keep the screen on till you basically look away so you could have it set to
2:40
five seconds and as long as it sees your face through camera it will not basically
2:47
turn off. At the moment you stop looking at your device, it will start the five second
2:53
countdown and then basically put your display into sleep mode as it would normally do. So
2:57
really handy option if you're for instance reading something and you want your
3:02
device to be constantly have the screen on. As you can see right now it doesn't
3:06
really see my face so it doesn't really work because I'm more to the side rather
3:11
than above it, above is the camera. So it just doesn't pick up my face
3:17
But moving on to the next option, it's going to be the remove animation and it basically
3:26
does what it tells you it does. It removes animations from your phone
3:31
So right now if you see there are animations by just kind of like whatever I open, it's
3:37
animated zooming in out and stuff like that But if we go into the settings and then scroll all the way down to accessibility and then here again scroll a little bit down to remove animations
3:51
that will basically remove animations. Now, in certain cases they still have animations, like for instance closing
4:00
You could see that kind of thing being animated, but when it comes down to this, for instance, opening it up, it goes instantly in there
4:07
So the option might not be for everybody, but if you want to get into your device quicker and remove animations that sometimes take a little bit time, this is one of the ways you can do it
4:19
Then moving on to the next one, it's going to be the dark theme
4:25
And right now we're in light one obviously, but we can go into the settings display and have the toggle right here
4:34
And when you enable it, you can see that it basically turns everything. into dark mode and that will also include default apps like dialers, messages, your settings
4:43
as you've seen, your notification panel, everything goes dark. Now it doesn't actually put everything into dark mode so meaning that if you downloaded
4:53
some kind of apps off of Play Store they have a high chance that they won't change
5:00
It's more of a system and pre-installed apps that come with it that will be changed
5:07
But still, if you want it, you can enable it. It's a fairly good option to have, especially during night time, so you don't blast your irises
5:14
Now during the daytime, I'll probably stick with the light mode. It just looks a little bit better and direct sunlight in my opinion, but that is just, like I said, my personal opinion here
5:23
And the last thing that I want to show is the adaptive performance
5:30
And the way this works is it basically dedicates a REM or terminates apps that don need it So whenever you try to interact with your device it can quickly open up apps
5:43
and have them preloaded when the device thinks you might actually want to use them
5:48
And to get this going, all you need to do is go into the settings, scroll to system
5:53
and adaptive performance right here. And you do have a little bit of a description of how it works
6:00
So adaptive performance improves RAM efficiency and helps apps open faster through on-board
6:07
or on-device AI that uses context and usage pattern to determine when you will open an app next
6:15
So it seems a little bit wordy in terms of what it does
6:22
It basically books when you open up apps. So if you primarily open search specific app, as an example, at like 5pm
6:33
it will then, just after several times, we'll basically consider, oh yeah, you open this up basically regularly at this hour
6:42
So we're just going to pre-load it, and it's going to open quicker because of it
6:47
And then additional apps that we just kind of be left in the background running
6:51
are then also terminated from using RAMs. So if you try to go back to them
6:57
and the device has learned that after specific hour, for instance, you don't actually open them because you don't have a need for it
7:03
It will basically just kind of kill them off in a way. So really nice option to have enabled, I would say
7:09
But that being said, this would conclude all the tweaks and tricks that I wanted to share. And if you found this very helpful, don't forget to head like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
