Welcome. In front of me I have the SJ Chem C-300 and today I'll go over unboxing along with a quick look at the actual product
0:13
Now the name might not give you much confidence but the product actually seems to be pretty solid
0:18
So anyway, I just get a look at it. Now I'm going to first unbox it and then go over the specs that I have visible or open on their websites
0:30
So we're going to take a look at that in a second. Now, I'm going to mention that
0:34
even though the name of this company is a little bit sketch
0:39
the actual product and the accessories that come with this product are pretty nice
0:48
So, first of all, we have our little camcorder. Then we get accessory
0:58
So this is a battery pack with additional display. The first display right here is on the front
1:05
Now this is the mode that you would use when you just mount it to something. And you really don't need to use the display
1:11
It's just like, you know, as you use a GoPro mounted and just have it record
1:16
While this is more when you're holding it, slap that in here. Just quickly get rid of this
1:26
Also have an SD card. in here. Anyway, I'm going to take that off. So you just slot this in here
1:36
There we go. And now you can record it from here. Have a display. And obviously the sensor is
1:41
right at the back. Now on the box itself it might kind of look like it's a 360 cam. It's not. As you
1:47
can see there's no other lens at the back. So this is just a typical kind of like a
1:53
GoPro camera just on the go. So, Yeah, basically single lens right here
2:01
I believe they might be selling other ones like 360 cams if you're interested in it, but I haven't actually looked too deeply into it
2:08
Anyway, now I will mention that this is, this I believe, a replacement
2:14
for their previous C200, at least I would assume by the name
2:20
which came out at a very competitive price compared to other companies
2:24
that produced similar products like this. Now, in here we have a really decent size little microfiber cloth
2:32
So you can clean your little lenses. Then we have 2em tapes
2:38
So you can mount it onto different surfaces. And then the completely stacked box of different accessories along with the stickers
2:49
So here we have a couple of mounts, plastic ones, along with already a pre-applied
2:56
3M tape on them and get a Type C charging port or charging cable to type A because this is using a
3:04
type C plug. You can see right here on the side. Now let's quickly go into the accessories
3:20
Now that tape right here a little bit rippy but anyway. So here we have a little case
3:26
This case is for diving. It is rated, or at least they have it written that it's rated for
3:35
I mean just quickly find it, 98 feet of waterproofing. So you can go basically 98 feet down
3:43
Not exactly sure how it translates to atmosphere I would need to actually check the meters first So let me just quickly look at this 98
3:56
So that's about 29 meters deep. And that would put it about 29
4:05
28 atmospheres. I believe, I could be wrong. But still, 29 meters or just
4:13
98 feet, that's pretty good case. It can resist the pressure pretty nicely in this case because
4:21
that is a pretty substantial depth. Most of the devices usually have something about like five
4:26
meters, which is pretty shallow compared to this which I yeah has significantly better resistance
4:34
right here. Now anyway I just quickly cut the rest. Here we have our little mounts for
4:41
mounting into different with these. So you clip that in here obviously and you also
4:48
need a case for this to be able to mount it. Now I'm not exactly sure which one that is
4:53
so I'm gonna look through them till I find it. And I think I already did find it, though
5:11
It looks like I need to use this attachment. So it is on right now, which I don't want
5:27
There we go. So I'm just plop that in here I assume
5:33
There's a little clip at the top. Let's just push it in to let clips in
5:39
And from there, can attach it. and from there cannot touch it now this looks like it's universal so if you have any other
5:46
mounting uh points like that for instance in your bike helmet already uh then i believe this
5:52
should fit those that you already have but i could be wrong i don't have anything to actually
6:00
check it out maybe i do now i won't be able to show it but i can't check it myself
6:05
so yep that looks to be the same how can i take it off. I have a little mount attached to a wall. There we go. So it does fit
6:22
onto the one from I believe that's GoPro that I have on the wall. But anyway, so this
6:29
should function with every other amount that is on the market for all the other action cams
6:37
There go. Now can I take it off? Now taking it off might be a little bit harder
6:54
It's not mounted to anything so it's quite difficult to actually unclip it
6:58
Anyway, I'm not going to waste my time right now. I'm going to do this later on
7:03
Let's move over. Here we have a case. So just a protective case, not much. protective case, not much to it
7:16
Okay. Okay. No, I think that's the other way around
7:32
Ah I think that how it goes So there we go
7:48
Now last thing is... actually two things. Let's see what we got here
7:57
So this is... that's actually pretty nice, so it has a clip. You can just, I don't know, clip it to your..
8:02
shirt, your pants or whatever, and it should be holding. It's basically the same thing as this clip without the actual mounting
8:09
points onto it and instead you have a clip. And then last thing
8:17
is a... we're gonna attach this to
8:29
oh I think it attaches through here. Could be wrong. so if you want to hang it yep that looks like it will go through this portion right here
8:45
now yeah i'm not going to fiddle around and trying to fit it in so there we go now to quickly
8:51
go over the specs that we have right here i'm gonna just bring this so
9:02
Scroll down, we have a couple little images shown here how, what are some of the applications right here
9:11
Let me just make the screen a little bit brighter. So we have 4K video with 20 megapixels sensor right here
9:22
Now 4K video is only limited to 30 frames. If you drop it to 1440p, so a 2K resolution, you can actually record at 60 frames
9:30
So, there we go. And obviously, if you drop it with an ADP, again, you can also record at 60 frames
9:37
You also have a slow motion right here that I didn't really find to what extent
9:41
Now, in reality, these images are, or what you see right here aren't images, but my phone isn't actually showing them as animations
9:49
If you take this on the computer, their website, this specific product, you'll see some animations
9:55
Here we have a little corgi mount right here. So, here. Then we have an antenna
10:04
And here we have some specs. So like I mentioned right here, the resolutions, we have 4K, 30 frames, 2K, which is 2560 by 1440
10:14
60 and 30, 1080p, 120 which like I mentioned will be slow motion, 60 and 30, and again
10:20
720 slow motion and 60 30. Now moving down, we have the photo resolution of 20 megapixels, 16 and so on
10:29
I don't think you should go any down any lower than 20 if you have an option
10:35
Now in terms of video recording, we have several different modes, so you can apply this product to several different occasions
10:40
So on number one, it will be slow motion or whatever. Then we have motion detection, video lapse, and also car mode
10:49
So you can use this as a dash cam, I assume. Moving on, six-axis gyroscope, eight times zoom
10:57
video format MP4 encoding H264 and H265 photo format JPEG or GPG charging type C
11:14
one thing that I actually didn really think about or didn really an opportunity to test out it has a touchscreen so both of these are touch screens this one and this one then we actually have a built Wi a 2 and 5 gigahertz moving down our
11:35
battery capacity is 2800mms I'm not exactly sure what it shows to oh so the this one
11:45
is a smaller one so this will be the thousand million power capacity and this one is the
11:49
2800 million power capacity. I have some charging and usage
12:01
That's basically all the important information. Now one thing, probably one last thing important right here
12:09
will be the memory type, so it maxes out at 128 gigabyte or storage
12:15
So, no, a SD card like these. if you have for instance 256 it won't work which is a little bit of a shame
12:22
because if you're recording at 4k 30 frames or for instance 1440p 60
12:29
you might be running out of this storage quickly though I haven't checked out the
12:33
battery obviously if the battery lasts a shorter amount of time than the storage I
12:40
would say that that's okay but it will really depend now and if it is obviously
12:44
it takes a SD cards like almost any other action cams. So you can have multiple cards and just swap them out, which that's not big of a
12:54
problem. And yeah, that's basically all there is. Now, I don't have any kind of info about the price
13:00
right now. I don't think this product at the time of recording is released yet. It has been provided
13:05
by the SG cam to me, so I guess we can call this actually a sponsored video. But yeah, like I said
13:14
I don't have info about how expensive it is, but if I have to guess or assume, I just take that with a grain of salt like I'm saying
13:22
I'm literally guessing. So if we take in consideration that their previous SJ Chem C200 cost it about $100 and I think it was $20
13:34
Just quickly check. Check into it right here. well I find it
13:58
Oh, there it is. Not sure where I couldn't find it before. So right here it is on sale for $139 from $139
14:12
Okay. So anyway, and like even at this price range, even though this is, I think there just have a bug right here
14:19
where it says that it's on sale, while the price is exactly the same
14:23
but no matter for this price, as a default price, I assume
14:28
which would actually track considering the C-200 was basically the same price range
14:35
I think it's a great alternative to other action camps, which are significantly more expensive
14:41
we're talking about at least two times more expensive. This will obviously do that job
14:45
and if you want to just double into action camps and see how they perform, how can you use them
14:52
and if they really work for you, this would be a great starting point, I would say. So anyway, with this being said
14:59
