Welcome and for a Meeze Apol Reno 4 and today I'll show you how to go 3D setup process of the device
0:13
So when you boot it up for the first time you will be presented with the language select screen as you can see right over here
0:20
So choose your language by simply tapping on it. Now for me it's already selected the language that I want to use anyway so I'm just going to select next now
0:28
And then select your region. Select your region, simply again top on it and then go to next
0:34
And here we have terms of service. So we do have to agree to the first one
0:38
So agree to the user agreement. You can top on the blue text to also open it up and read what you're agreeing to exactly
0:45
And from there go back and simply check on the first one. Now the two additional ones are completely optional
0:51
So if you want to, you can agree to it and sign up for whatever program they're trying
0:55
to give. in it hour if you don't want it simply keep it unchecked and select next then have
1:01
connect to Wi-Fi so here we can connect to obviously our network and if you
1:06
don't have your Wi-Fi near you right now and then you can simply skip this the
1:11
only thing that you will miss out on is the ability to look into to Google account
1:16
throughout the setup process which it still can be done later on just with the
1:20
settings and on the next page you can see Wi Assistant and this is a fairly handy option right here So as you can see automatically select Best Wi So automatically select the connection to the best Wi network by testing the quality of Wi networks
1:37
This may increase Wi-Fi data usage. So it will basically, if you have multiple Wi-Fi connected right now
1:45
so I just say at your home you have two different Wi-Fi's. And there are two different points, Big House, whatever
1:51
just a theoretical situation. so there are times where you will have a bit worse quality of a connection
1:58
for instance on one end of the house and in this case the other router would probably be a better option
2:06
so the phone will decide which one is faster and which one is just a better connection
2:11
and then connect to that one that is better and then below that once you check that on
2:17
you have the auto switch to mobile network so if both Wi-Fis are just other garbage
2:22
the phone will decide to go to mobile network then. Now this option, well then, we'll basically use mobile data
2:30
So if you don't have much of it to begin with, I would probably suggest you to stay away from this option
2:38
But if you have some kind of like unlimited plan or plenty enough gigs to go around
2:44
then I would probably select this. So I don't have to deal with the internet
2:50
And from there we can go to Next. And we have Google services
2:55
We have services like location scanning and send user and diagnostic data So as you can see can top on the error right here to expand it and read exactly what it does But in short use location uses the GPS tracking for apps
3:10
So apps can just remind your position on the world a little bit more accurately
3:15
Then scanning, scans things like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices. It basically allows those components to look for other things to connect to
3:23
and then send user and diagnostic data seems a little bit explanatory
3:27
basically scans how you use the device and sends it to Google. And if you don't want any of those
3:32
you can simply disable it. Now things like location apps, for instance, like Google Maps
3:38
will require it, or maybe not require it, but really want it. And they will work best with location on
3:45
So if you want to use your phone as a GPS navigation, you will need to enable that
3:50
But an app will basically tell you that you need to enable it if you want to use it as a GPS navigation and you can keep it off
3:57
till you need that. From there let's stop on accept and set our screen lock. Now this step is
4:03
again optional you can tap on later and completely skip it if you want to top if you want to set
4:07
up some kind of protection you can tap right here and by default you will have a six-digit pin but
4:12
it can change it to pattern four digit 4 to 16 and a basically alphabetical password. I'm going to
4:19
set a pattern right here so let's draw it, redraw it once more
4:23
and that it Now automatically it goes to face recognition So if you want it you can tap and continue It will basically launch the camera and scan your face and then give you an option to just do it
4:36
So you can see there it is. Now it looks like it's having a problem
4:41
Let me grab it. Apparently I don't have a face. So I'm just going to skip it
4:53
and then we can add a fingerprint now this will take a little bit too long so I'm just going to cancel it
4:58
and this will skip adding fingerprint then we have recommended also update overnight and just a look of icons
5:05
if you want to update overnight you can enable this if you don't keep it off and then homescreen icons
5:10
just gives you a couple different styles of homescreens select whichever one you like more how it looks
5:16
like and that's about it tap on apply and go to next and from here you can import data from your from your
5:23
the device if you have one but I'm setting out this device up as new so let's select later
5:33
and we're basically done so get started and we should be on the home screen
5:39
so that is how you'll go through the setup process of the device and if you found this very
5:44
helpful don't forget to head like subscribe and thanks for watching
