the recovery mode. Now this process will also remove a pin pattern password if you have one set that you don't

know the code to it. So let me quickly lock the device and you can see here that I have a pattern set and

I'm going to progress from here as though I don't know it. So to get started we're going to hold the power key and volume down, that's going to

forcibly shut off the device. Once it shuts off, which you can see by the countdown which will appear, keep holding

till you see the logo of the device on the screen, so it's going to be the LG G8X, at

which point you want to let go of the power key and then immediately start holding it again

So let's get to it. There's the countdown, keep holding, 3, 2, 1, keep holding and there we go, let go, start

holding again and there we go. So we should now be in the recovery mode and from here using volume keys to navigate you
