Welcome. In front of me is a Huawei MadePad SE and today I will show a couple tweaks and tricks you can do on this tablet
0:11
So starting off, we're going to open up our settings. And we can begin by navigating into the display and brightness
0:21
And here we have a couple of things. So we have dark mode. You can enable it or disable it, obviously convey all day
0:28
so this will turn on the dark mode but you also have like I
0:31
enable this at the start schedule mode and here we have start and
0:35
end time and also days of the week so we can select it so turns on
0:42
at a specific time and ends at a specific time giving you best of both
0:46
worlds especially if you tend to use your device outside that will be superb
0:51
moving on to the next option it's going to be the simple display, which is also under here, or at least a link to it is, or not display
1:05
status bar. It's called simple, I think status bar, something like that. Oh, no, it is
1:10
Display. So there we go. Now, what this basically does is just hides unnecessary clutter
1:15
which you can still access by just, you know, pulling down your notifications
1:21
So when enabled, as can see, it just removes a bunch of toggles right here
1:27
one right here for like the mute or whatever this is. So silent. So yeah that basically kind of hides it
1:38
Obviously all this is still enabled, all these notifications are still accessible to you
1:43
They're just not showing up in your panel or in your status bar
1:48
which just makes the display a little bit cleaner and nicer Now moving on to the next option is the gesture navigation which you can find under I think it was notification and status bar still
2:03
Nope, never mind. There we go. So it's under system and update, system navigation, and you have the gesture navigation
2:12
So you can switch it right here. It gives you the guide right here to how we can use this, but pretty sure most of us already
2:21
know by this time. If you don't, obviously go through the little instructions and it
2:25
will give you a quick overview of how you use the gesture navigation. Now under
2:30
settings we also have some additional settings right here so show navigation bar
2:36
This should add, yep there we go, there's a little bar at the bottom, this is more
2:41
like a physical indication to what you're supposed to swipe up on but personally it
2:47
works really well without it and it makes it look much cleaner
2:51
Now moving on to the next option, it's going to be the sidebar that you have access to at basically any place
2:58
You swipe up from the side. If you have gesture navigation, it first shows up as the arrow, right
3:04
As you can see. So if you hold it, it switches to this bar right here
3:09
If you don't have gesture navigation and you just have the three typical buttons at the bottom
3:13
it automatically shows up with this icon, this one right here when you swipe from the side
3:19
Now here you have access to several applications. You can also tap right here to view all of them that you have installed on your device
3:28
And from there you can, for instance, tap on an application. This will open it up in this pop-up view, as you can see right here, which can drag around
3:35
You can have other small apps open in the background and still use them no problem
3:40
As you can see, and it works all just fine. You can resize it by grabbing on a side
3:47
though as you can see the resize is unlocked to aspect ratio i cannot just grab from a side and just stretch it this direction only Or for instance to the downside I stretch it basically in each direction equally
4:02
So it is locked to this. But another thing that you can do is hold it and drag it to the side
4:11
And then you have a quick split screen. You can also do so by holding it from here, dragging it
4:18
and it will also open up in split screen. So obviously if you have like this
4:23
it will shift it like so. So just a quick way to split screen
4:29
Your application is pretty nice and intuitive. Now moving on to the last option
4:36
which will also go really well with this split screen, the multitasking
4:42
Is this, I guess I can call it a clipboard? I don't know if it has some kind of name or not
4:47
but just quickly open up our browser. So right here we have just some images, right
4:55
I'm going to do this with an image just because it's a little bit simpler. I believe you can also do this with text, so let's try
5:04
And this browser is absolute crap. Trying to find something that works a little bit better than this absolute horrendous browser
5:17
or so anyway. Trying to search for anything that is written so I can select it, there we go
5:40
Let's see do we... Then hold it. Ah, yes we can. As can see it can then hold it And you have this option drag here I just going to do that whoop And And as you can see it copied the selected text It has it now saved up here
5:55
And I can, for instance, open up any kind of other application. So just kind of go through it
6:00
Boom. Let's go with email. Pop up you good enough. You know, I'm just going to put this in here
6:10
So I can just then grab this, drag it over, drop it, and voila it
6:15
pastes in the text pretty nicely quickly. And like I mentioned, you can also do this with images
6:21
so let's just go to images right here. Open one up. Can I again hold it
6:28
I highly recommend downloading a different browser because this one is absolutely horrendous
6:34
See, view image. Can I now? Oh boy. There we go
6:45
So we can actually grab it. Just have to have a half of the screen movement for it to actually then grab it
6:53
And I just dropped it by mistake. Come on. There we go. Drop it in here
6:58
And as you can see, we have now two different things. We can extend the view
7:02
And just as before, we can open up some kind of other app. Notepad
7:10
And voila, I just pasted it in
7:23
So there we go. This was just a quick little look at couple tweaks, tricks that I found right here
7:30
that I find interesting. And if you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
