Welcome. And following me is a Poco F4 and today I'll show you how you can hard reset this device through recovery mode

So this process will remove things like screen lock, if you have one that you don't know

And I did set up one just for this purpose. So once I lock the device you can see, there it is

So to get started, what you'll want to do is hold your power key, select power off

And once the phone turns off, you want to hold power and volume up at the same time

Now when you see Poco logo, you can let go of the power key, keep holding volume up

And when you see the recovery mode, you can also let go of that volume up. Now in this mode you'll need to use the volume keys to navigate up and down

As you can see, and power key will be used to confirm whatever is selected

Now with that in mind, you want to select wipe data, wipe all data, confirm

And there we go, data wipe successful. So now we just press power key, power key, power key and this will initiate reboot

Keep in mind that the device is still continuing the process in the background, so it will take it a little bit longer than you might be used to for the device to actually fully boot up
