Welcome, in front of me is a Huawei P40 and today I'll show you how to set up and enable

the portable hotspot. So to get started all you need to do is pull down the notification panel and you will find

it right here. Now if you don't see the hotspot right here at the toggle, you can probably tap on the

pencil right here and it will be in one of the disabled. But for me there is only one thing disabled so let's just go back

So from here you want to actually hold it on the first so you can set it up

So number one, start off by choosing the device name. Now this thing you can probably keep it as default if you wish to

It's basically the name that will be displayed in all the WiFi lists

So as you have all the networks around you, the name Huawei P40 will basically appear

as one of the networks there. And then the password, that's probably one thing that you would like to change because

this default complete mambo-jumbo of letters and numbers might not be easy to remember

or give to someone. So I'll just remove it and set it to something easier to remember

Now the only thing you need to keep in mind, it needs to have at least 8 digits or letters

or more precisely 8 characters. And once it does you can tap on OK and it will be automatically saved

And then right here you have connected devices so it basically shows you how many devices

are connected and that's about it. And once you have set those two things up, you can just tap on the button right here

and from now you can find this network in your WiFi list

And here you also have a timer that you can set and Bluetooth tethering so that basically

instead of WiFi it would use Bluetooth. I would disadvise on using that, it's way slower
