In front of me is a ZTE Blade 2 and today I'll show you how to transfer files from for

instance your phone to an SD card or vice versa. So I'm going to quickly open up camera and capture a couple of photos just so I have

something to transfer. There we go. That should be good enough. So to get started we will want to open up file manager app right here

When you open it up it might ask you for permission to access basically the device storage

So grant it, allow. And from here we can go either to the phone or SD card, phone meaning the phone storage

So I'm going to quickly look. There are my photos that I have captured

So both the phone and SD card have as you can see very similar folders in them with

the difference that right now the phone saves to the phone storage and the SD card is just

there because it is inserted but it's not set to be default storage location

So to get started let's find our files which I'm briefly mentioning

DCIM folder will contain pictures and videos that you captured with the device while downloads

folder will have anything that you have downloaded on the device, that be e-mail or web browser

that gets saved to the download folder. And then below we have also pictures folder which would normally store screenshots

So once you find your files because that's basically all the primary folders that device

saves to, everything else is for the most part used by users themselves so things like

music if you're looking for music you probably know where it is

But once you find your files what you want to do is select them and you do it by simply

holding it. As you can see it gives us the check mark right here and you can tap on additional ones

to select more. Once you have selected your files what you want to do is tap on the three dots and choose

to either move it or copy it. And if you choose to move it it will be completely removed while copy will make a duplicate of

it and move the new ones to a new location while old ones stay where they are

So select whichever one you want. I'm going to go with move and once you select one of those options you will now have to

back out to a place that you want to move it to

So simply tap either on the last one or if you want to move it just somewhere else on

your phone then go as far back as you need. And from here if you go basically to the beginning as I did by tapping on the storage devices

you will see the two storages. And I'm going to be moving it to the SD card so that is what I'm going to select

And from here I can drop it wherever I want. So I could literally drop it in the middle of the card and as you can see there is three

photos right here already. So you know what I'm going to go to the DCIM which is empty and paste it here

And there we go. We are still on the SD card, DCIM and there are the three pictures

And because I chose to move them you will not find them anymore in the camera folder

right here as you can see. So that is how you remove any kind of file from one location to another on this device
