Welcome. In front of me is a Honor 4X and today I'll show you how to transfer photos
0:10
or videos or any kind of other file from the device to the SD card or vice versa
0:16
So to get started you want to open up the files app which is this yellow folder right here
0:21
and from here let me just locate go back to the original place where you actually open it up so
0:27
you'll see this and here you have all the categories of each file so images have all
0:33
the photos images and stuff like that audio will have all your music videos will get the point
0:39
but this doesn't really help us because it doesn't really allow us to well know where the file is
0:45
located at the moment so for instance you can go into images right here and then into camera
0:51
and you have two images but you don't know where they're located at so once you select them to
0:56
copy them you will be just copying them to whatever you want but the photos might already
1:03
be there you don't really know that because it doesn't show it so I advise on actually going to
1:10
local and from here you have the two different storages separated so you have internal storage
1:15
and the SD card now I already know that my two photos that I have as an example for transfer
1:20
are located on the SD card that's where it saves it by default when it detects an SD card
1:26
now screenshots and stuff like that will be still saved to the phone itself but so once you find the
1:33
image that you want to find for I mean it's under DCIM that's where all the photos and videos that
1:39
I capture with the device are saved are so from here you can see all the photos that you have
1:46
and then at the bottom you have the two options so copy and cut now it all depends what you want
1:52
to really do for instance I can just copy it so once you tap on it it will give you the option
1:57
to start selecting it so you just tap on it to select it like so and then you have the copy and
2:04
the amount of photos that you have selected now if you have entire folder that you want to move
2:09
full of photos of like hundreds of them you probably don't want to select all of the photos
2:14
individually so you can just go back one position where you have the camera and just select the
2:18
entire folder and call it a day like so so then you just tap on copy and as you can see now you
2:25
have the option to paste so you want to now navigate into the location that you want to
2:29
move it to so for instance I'm going to move it from the or copy it from the SD card and I'm going
2:34
to paste it in the internal storage so just to keep it consistent I'm also going to go back into
2:40
the DCIM folder where normally the photos are located at and from here you can just press and
2:45
paste and moves it right into here and just so you can see that's under DCIM and if I go back
2:52
to the as in the internal storage so but because I chose copy the two photos are also located on the
3:01
SD card as well as you can see now if you choose cut they will be removed from here and move to the
3:07
desired location but that is how you would copy photos videos or any kind of other file to the
3:14
phone or from the phone to a SD card and vice versa and like I said you can do this with any
3:20
kind of file it works the same way and if you found this pretty helpful don't forget to like
3:24
subscribe and thanks for watching
