In front of me is an Honor 10X Lite and today I will show you how to transfer files from

your phone to an SD card and vice versa. Now to get started you'll want to open up the files application, which for me is right

over here. Once you open it up you will have the choice between the two storages, so we have the phone

and the SD card. I will start off with the phone itself and you can see there's a couple of folders right

here and now there's half of them which I would consider important

So number one would be the downloads folder, which will contain anything that I have downloaded

on this device, either through a web browser or email. It will get saved to the downloads folder

Then we have the DCIM folder, which contains pictures and videos captured with the device

And when we go back we also have the pictures folder, which contains screenshots

And whatever browser it is, looks like it saves pictures from a browser here for some reason

So anyway, once you find your files, which for me I'm just going to be using screenshots

I guess, right here, you want to select them and you do so by simply holding one of the

images like this. As you can see it becomes checked and then you can tap on additional ones to select more

Once you have selected everything that you want, you have two options, you can either copy it or move it

The choice is yours. I will select move and what you want to do now is navigate to where you want to move

Oh, so apparently to change the location from phone to an SD card you just have to click

right here. So, I'm going to select memory card. Memory card, there we go

And in here I can navigate to where I want to drop the files to

So I could create a new folder by tapping right here if I wanted to

I can navigate to a specific folder. So you know what, I'm just going to go into music folder because why not

So once it's selected, there's no additional folders inside. So once it's selected like this, click on the check mark and this will move the files

in there. So now if I go back, memory card, I believe I dropped it to music

Yep, there we go. Start the pictures in here. And that is how you could move any kind of file from one location to another
