Welcome, and for now I'm using my iPhone iRen 3 and today I'll show you how to transfer
0:10
files from your phone to an SD card and vice versa. And to get started we will need to open up the files app which is right over here
0:22
Tap on continue and once it opens up scroll down and if you see both of the storages
0:28
internal and your SD card, then that's great. If you don't and only see one of them, you wanna tap on the three dots and where I see
0:37
hide storage devices, for you it should show show storage devices. So from there let's find our files
0:45
I'm gonna start with the internal storage. They both will have same or similar folder structure if the device needed to create one
0:55
on the SD card as well. So as you can see we have folders that are, well, I'm gonna go over the ones that are
1:04
actually important like the DCIM downloads and so on. So starting off DCIM will contain photos and videos that you have captured with the phone
1:13
itself, as you can see. There is camera. The downloads folder will contain anything that you have downloaded either through your
1:21
web browser or email. Anything downloaded will be in here. This music contains files that are placed by the user themselves
1:30
Then you have pictures which contain screenshots, as you can see there are screenshots
1:36
And that's about it for the important stuff. Now the same folders could exist on here, although the device isn't saving anything
1:46
by default to the SD card, so as you can see it didn't need to create any DCIM or folders
1:51
like that. So let's find our files that we will want to move, which for me, as an example, I have
1:58
these four pictures that I have taken. And what you want to do at the beginning is select them
2:05
You select them by simply holding a single file and it becomes selected
2:11
And then you can tap on additional ones to add them on. Now if you want to select every file in a folder you can either select the entire folder
2:20
or tap on the three dots and choose select all. So whichever way you do it, it's completely up to you, but once you have selected whatever
2:27
it is that you want to move, tap on the three dots and choose either move to or copy to
2:34
Copy will create additional set of the same files, basically create duplicates and move
2:39
them to a new location, while move will completely remove them from where they are right now
2:43
and move them to a new location. I'm going to go the same with move
2:48
And once you tap on one of the options, it will bring up this panel right here and gives
2:52
you the option to either move it to the internal storage or SD card
2:56
We're now on the internal storage, so I'm just going to go somewhere completely else to the SD card
3:00
And once you tap on it, it will show you the folder structure of that SD card as you've
3:05
seen before, but also the ability to create a new folder if you want to
3:10
Now I'm not really going to be bothering with the new folder. I'm just going to press it, move here, and it will drop him straight to the middle of
3:20
the SD card. So as you can see, there we go, it moved those three photos that I have selected, and now
3:25
if I go back to the SD, there they are. So that is how you remove files, and if you found this very helpful, don't forget to like
3:37
subscribe, and thanks for watching. I'll see you in the next video
