Firstly, open settings and scroll down. Then, choose Privacy section. Following that, click on Uplock and tap on this switcher next to Uplock feature

If you don't have privacy password, you need to set it up

You can do that by choosing Settings in the pop-up. Now, click on Use a different password type and select one of those login methods

Like pattern. Over here you need to enter your login method and repeat it in order to confirm it

Over here you can set up your recovery email, just in case, and click on Save

If you don't like any of them, click on the question, choose custom question, and create your own

Save it by choosing Confirm. Remember to answer it correctly below. And finally, tap on this icon, the trackmark, at the top right corner to access Uplock settings

Now, click on the switcher next to an app that you wish to lock

In my case, maybe Calendar. So now when I go back and try to access Calendar app, as you can see pattern is now required

If you want to unlock your app, you need to access Uplock again
