Welcome! In front of me I have Huawei Band 8 and I'm gonna show you how to set
0:06
an image as a watch face on this smartband. Basically if you want to use
0:10
your own image or a picture as a watch face. Before we start if you want to set an image as a watch face on this smartband
0:21
your band needs to be paired with a phone via the Huawei Health
0:26
application. Once the devices are paired together we can continue and now we can
0:31
open the Huawei Health application on the phone that is paired with our
0:35
smartband. After you open the application you should see the Health page. Now tap
0:40
on devices icon. Here find the Huawei Health Band 8 on the list of devices and
0:47
tap on it. On this page find the watch faces category. If you don't have this
0:54
category it could be because when you install the Huawei Health application
0:59
for the first time you selected a region that doesn't support this feature
1:04
Because when you install the Huawei Health application you need to select a
1:08
region. You could try to reinstall the application, select a different region
1:12
and then reconnect your devices together and hopefully that will solve your
1:16
problem. Now let's tap on the more option next to watch faces to open the watch
1:23
face store. Right now for some reason my Wi-Fi is turned off so that's why it's
1:28
not working. Let's go back, turn on the Wi-Fi and maybe reopen the app. Let's
1:36
reopen the app to refresh it. Devices and now it's working. Okay so watch faces
1:44
category. Tap on more then tap on mine and it's gonna open the list of watch
1:55
faces installed on your smartband. Find the watch face called gallery and tap on
2:00
it. If you need to download the package download it. And after it's done downloading you will see this screen and here we can
2:13
basically add the background to our watch face. So tap on the plus button. You
2:18
can select take photo or gallery. If you select take photo it will open the
2:23
photos app and you can take a picture with your phone and then use it as a
2:28
watch face. And if you select gallery it will open the file browser, file manager
2:33
and you can select the photo from the phone. I'm gonna use the gallery option
2:38
but you can use the camera option if you want to. Allow the permission, select the
2:43
folder for example download, tap on the picture to select it and then crop the
2:48
picture. Basically if the picture is too big to fit on the watch face you will
2:53
see this highlighted area and you need to position the picture the
3:00
way you want it to be on the watch face. I'm gonna position it like this and then
3:05
tap on the check mark and here we have a preview of our watch face. You can also
3:10
add multiple pictures as a watch face for example let's tap on plus, gallery
3:15
download, select different picture, crop it, tap on the check mark and now we have
3:23
two pictures. Once you're done adding the backgrounds tap on style and select the
3:28
style of the clock. Then tap on layout, select the layout and then tap on widgets
3:35
and select the type of the widget under the clock. And once you're done tap on
3:41
save and wait until it's done uploading to your watch. Okay and once it's done the watch face will be applied as you can see. It's
4:00
still going so let's wait. Okay now it's done and we have our watch face and if you have multiple pictures
4:12
as a watch face you can simply tap on the current one to cycle between them
4:17
like this. You can tap on the screen to cycle between the watch faces. Okay and
4:24
that's how you set an image as a watch face on the smartband. Thank you for
4:28
watching. If you found this video helpful please consider subscribing to our
