Welcome, in front of me is a Motorola Moto E6s and today I will show you how you can boot this phone into safe mode

So to get started let's hold the power key. This will bring up our boot options and here simply hold power off

This will bring up a window reboot to safe mode. Do you want to reboot into safe mode

This will disable all third-party applications that you have installed. They will be restored when you reboot again

Let's click on OK. Now we see this will begin rebooting. Now, quickly explain what that message meant

Every application that you have installed yourself, so the ones that didn't come with the device, will be temporarily turned off

Neither the app nor you will be able to turn it on

And this will only apply to the apps that you have installed. Any kind of default app that comes pre-installed with the phone should work fine

Hopefully I can see if they will show up. So widgets don't work as you can see

And we have a couple of actual applications from the manufacturer. I don't know if this is from the manufacturer or what it is, but I didn't install it so maybe someone else worked it

But you can see that this one will not work. It's greyed out and if you try to open it up, it gives you the pop-up

Same goes for News from Google. This is a default application that comes installed with the device, but again, it actually will not function

And these apps will not show up in your app drawer, just to keep that in mind

So if you have some kind of app that is causing you problems that you want to get rid of it using safe mode

you would need to go through Settings and then through Apps and get rid of it from here

So if you go in here, you should be able to see all the apps, even the ones that will not work right now

And once you're done with the safe mode, you can go back to normal mode by holding the power key and this time around just selecting Restart

It will reboot the device and when it boots back up, it just goes back to normal mode
