How to Record Screen on XIAOMI 12S Pro – Use Screen Recorder

Welcome, I'm Filomena, Xiaomi 12s Pro and today I'll show you how you can record a screen on this device

So to get started all you need to do is pull down your notifications and from here you will see a bunch of toggles

You can swipe to the side and hopefully we'll find our screen recording toggle somewhere here

Yep, there it is. You can see right over here. Once you see it you can simply tap on it

Okay, that was a sound. And from here you have a couple different shortcuts

So we can obviously press right here to start recording. The folder icon will allow you to access all the screen recordings

Gear just allows you to change the settings and obviously X close

So I'm going to open up the settings right here just to check out how it's set by default

So we are set to 1440p resolution for the recording. That's pretty high

Ironically enough we don't have a 1080p resolution for some reason. That's kind of odd

Now with this kind of resolution I would probably recommend going a little bit over the 16 megabits per second, 24 or maybe even higher

That will depend on how the actual video comes out. If it's sharp, it doesn't have any pixelations and motions, then 24 will be good

If you see something like that, particularly that will be visible in gaming, if you don't see anything like that, keep it at 24

If you do, crank it up higher. Now scrolling down we also have a frame rate. It is set to 24

I'm going to choose 60 just because I like the footage to be nice and battery smooth

There we go. And that's basically all I will be changing. But obviously in your case you can change way more in here

So whatever you want, toggle it on to whatever the feature needs basically

So anyway I'm going to close this now and start recording. And once you're done you can interact with this overlay right here

Click on the square. Sheesh. And this will automatically save your screen recording to your gallery application

You can obviously view it right from here. Which will show it to you

But you can also open up your gallery application and it will be visible right at the top

Or you can navigate to albums and find screenshots and screen recordings

Or then navigate to screenshots which is kind of cut out for some reason but that's basically what it is
