Welcome, my name is Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite and today I'll show you how to record your screen
0:12
on this device. And to get started, pull down your notification panel, expand it and find the screen recorder
0:19
toggle for it. So it looks like for me it's in the bottom left corner on the second page
0:27
So once you find it, you can either straight away tap on it to start recording your screen
0:31
or you can hold it. And this will take you to all the recorder sections
0:38
So here you will have everything that I have already recorded, but you can also quickly
0:41
access settings in here. So from the settings you can change different things like resolution, bitrate, orientation
0:49
and sound. So let's start off and make sure that everything is up to our standards
0:54
So resolution seems to be fine, maxed out, 1080p, looks good. Video quality, it's at 16 megabits per second
1:03
Now personally I'm going to increase it to 32. I believe this is the best you can get, anything above it will not be very visible to be honest
1:13
But you could go higher. I will mention that by bringing it up, you will also increase the file size
1:22
So for the same amount of time, the file will take up more space
1:28
So if you don't have much space, you can drop it down to 24 or 16 and see if the quality
1:34
is up to your standard. Then we also have the orientation. I'll keep it at auto
1:41
The device will detect what orientation the phone is oriented in and record at that orientation
1:47
which I consider to be a better option rather than locking it to a specific orientation
1:53
Now we have a sound source. We have mute mic system. Unfortunately we don't have option to record both sounds, meaning microphone and system sound
2:06
So choose whichever one is more important to you. And from there we also have the fixed frame rate
2:11
I would recommend you to keep this on and then change the frame rate to 30 instead of 24
2:17
This is such an odd frame rate to record in. Just because movies are recorded at 24 frames and that's how you're watching them, doesn't
2:26
mean that recording something on your phone will look good on 24 frames
2:30
And 30 is also I wouldn't say any better. So if you can, basically go as high with frame rate as you can to make it look better
2:41
There is a lock screen to end. So when you lock the device to end the recording, I also have the toggles to show touches on
2:48
the screen, virtual navigation button or go to the screen recorder or go back to the screen recorder
2:56
So basically once you end it will go to the page that we had previously
2:59
Now from here, once you have set it all up the way you want, you can simply leave this
3:04
go back to the toggle, tap on it and it automatically starts recording as you can see
3:10
Now this little overlay that is visible right here won't be visible on the recording
3:15
So just move it somewhere where it's out of your way. And from here, whatever you will do, it's going to be recorded
3:22
And once you're done with it, tap on the red square. This will automatically save it
3:27
And you can find that recording in the gallery that was right here
3:33
As you can see. And I believe it also is somewhere in here
3:38
Let me just quickly check. Yep, there we go. Videos. So it's also in your gallery application
3:47
So you can play it from either location. Give it a second and it should start
3:58
There we go. Moving. And yeah, that's basically it. That's how you record your screen
4:04
