Welcome in front of me I have Garmin Vivo Move Sport
0:10
and I'm going to show you how to pair this watch with an iPhone
0:15
You can pair this watch with an iPhone in two ways. The first method is to pair it during the setup process of the watch
0:21
So basically if your watch is brand new or it's been reset to the factory default settings
0:27
and the second method is to pair it through settings after the watch has been already set up
0:32
First I'm going to show you the during setup method and then I'm going to show you how to do it through settings
0:38
So let's start with the pairing. First thing you will need to do is to turn on your watch
0:43
To turn on this watch you need to plug it in to a charger or the computer via the USB
0:48
cable provided in the box. Once the watch turns on, you should see the hello screen or hello message on the screen
0:58
Basically that means that your watch is a new or it's been reset to the fact of the default settings
1:03
Now tap on the screen, continue, and now you should see the list of languages
1:08
You can scroll through the list by typing on the arrows right here
1:12
find the language like to use on your watch, and tap on it to select it. And as you can see, now we have PerNow button
1:20
We can tap on it. And now we need to download and install the Garmin Connect application on our iPhone
1:26
So let's open the App Store. In the App Store, let's tap on Search right here, then tap on the search bar, type in Garmin Connect
1:38
and then tap Search. Select this app, Garmin Connect, tap on this icon to install the app and wait until the app is done installing
1:49
And once the application is done installing, you can tap on open button right here
1:59
or simply open it by tapping on the icon, Garmin Connect icon, on the home screen
2:06
In the app, you will see this message, you can tap on OK
2:10
Now make sure that the Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone. As you can see, it's enabled on mine
2:16
If it's not, just enable it before we continue. And here, as you can see, I can continue with my account
2:24
I can basically log in into my account because iPhone remembers my account
2:28
And I looked in to this app before on this iPhone. But if you're opening this up for the first time on your phone, you will see this page
2:38
And here you can create an account if you need to. And you can also log in into an account
2:44
Okay I just going to go back Tap on Continue to login into my account then check the boxes and tap next
2:56
Now we can allow the permission for the notifications. So basically, if you want to receive the notifications from your iPhone on your watch
3:03
you need to allow this permission. If you don't want to do it, tap on, don't allow. And here we need to, or whether we can allow the health permissions like
3:14
and stuff like that if you want to track it with your watch
3:18
You can tap on turn on all if you want to or just select the separate specific ones if you like
3:27
And once you don't tap on allow. But before we continue, as you can see our watch is not in pairing mode anymore because after sometimes it just leaves the pairing mode
3:36
So let's tap on the pernaw again. Now it's in pairing mode again
3:42
We can tap on allow right here. right here. And as you can see, the app detected our watch automatically
3:47
Tap on connected. Now we need to enter the code from our watch
3:51
So 7-94725. Tap pair
4:03
We can allow to display the notifications on our watch. So if you want to get the notifications on your watch
4:09
you need to tap on allow. Now let's tap on next
4:18
Here we can set up a sleep time. Basically, the time you go to bed and the time when you wake up
4:24
This is useful if you want to use some features like sleep tracking, I believe, sleep do not disturb mode, and sleep mode
4:32
And you can set it up by tapping on the box right here and then adjust the time to your liking by swiping up and down on the screen
4:40
Do the same for the wake-up time. Like that, and once you've done, tap on next
4:46
Then tap on yes. Or if you don't want to turn on the another stair mode
4:51
during sleep, you can also tap on now, but I'm gonna tap on yes
4:57
Here we can select the preferred wrist on which we're gonna wear the watch
5:02
then tap next, and right here we can select the watch face
5:06
for our watch. As you can see, it's kind of buggy right now
5:10
But select the one you like, tap next. tap next. Here we can set up goals
5:16
So basically, goals like steps, I believe, and how much water you drink and stuff like that
5:24
you can tap on edit my goals to edit it, or you can tap on skip to skip this step
5:30
Right here we can allow the permission for the location, for the app. If you want to do it tap on allow location If you don tap on skip I going to tap on allow and allow while using the app Here we can allow the calendar access Again you can skip it or allow it
5:46
Then tap on Sync Now, finish. And here we have a tutorial how to use our watch
5:56
You can tap on next and go through it or skip it by tapping skip
6:02
Now we can manage the weather data, so basically we can set up the location from which the watch will show us the weather
6:11
So we can tap on manage weather location. And here we can select use phone location, so it's going to get the location from a phone or use fixed location
6:20
So you can basically set the location yourself, and you can tap on set fixed location
6:26
It's going to open the map, find the location on the map. For example, somewhere here, basically press and hold on the location and then tap on set location
6:38
Now we can also set up a few more things if you want to to do it
6:43
Tap on it started and here you can check what you can set up and you can basically tap on the thing
6:49
and here you can, it's going to redirect you to the settings. But I'm just going to swipe left on them to ignore them for now
6:59
that and get rid of this. And on our watch, we can take it to the basically tutorial how to use a watch
7:07
I'm just going to tap on X to skip it. And here we have the watch is ready to use
7:12
And now, of course, we can also an app. We can tap on more. My bad
7:18
On more. Scroll down, tap on Garmin devices. Select Vomov Sport. And here we have the device page for RV Vomo Sport
7:27
Okay. And that's how you pair this watch with an iPhone through the, or rather during the setup process
7:35
And now I'm going to show you how to do it through settings
7:38
So I'm going to unpar this watch from our phone. So remove the device
7:45
Close the app. Open the Bluetooth settings. Tap on the info button right here
7:54
Tap forget device. tap for good device to remove the device from the Bluetooth. Okay
8:01
Now, we need to enter the pairing mode on this watch. To do it, simply double tap on the screen to wake it up like this, then press and hold on the
8:13
screen to open the menu. Now scroll through the menu by swiping left or right on the screen find this icon the phone icon with Bluetooth tap on it then find this icon the fun icon with Bluetooth again tap on it As you can see the watch entered the pairing mode And you can just open the app
8:39
and if it's first time you're opening it, the app should detect the watch automatically. But if it's already
8:44
if you're already logged in and you have the app opened, you can tap on the plus button right here
8:51
And it's going to detect the watch automatically. And then you can just, just do the same steps as we did before
8:56
Just connect it. Enter the password from the watch. Then tap pair
9:07
And it should pair with your watch. This time it looks like it won't pair because you can see it failed
9:32
So we can turn one start again, but again. Okay, let me try this again
9:38
So how do we exit the pairing mode on this watch? I guess it's just going to stop after some time, but let's open the up again
9:46
Brose go back. detected the watch, tap on connected
10:00
And now it's connecting, okay. So sometimes you need to try to repeat it to connect the watch
10:06
Sometimes it's buggy. And now the setup is complete. We can tap on next, yes
10:15
Next, next. Escape. Sync now. We can tap on Retry, for some reason it didn't connect to the server
10:36
And then tap finish. And then, tap, finish. Again, tutorial
10:50
Not now. Got it. And here we have it. And that's how you pair this watch with an iPhone
