How to Open Recovery Mode on ZTE Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro

Welcome and follow me as a Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro and today I will show you how you can put this device into recovery mode

So, what we first need to do is turn off our device. So let's hold our power button and we're going to select power off

And when the device turns off, hold your power button and volume down at the same time

I think I did it a little bit too quickly so, oh boy, let's try it again. There we go

Now what you've seen just happen was when it booted up into this mode, I started holding power button again and it just confirmed the default option which is selected, which is reboot system now

So it automatically leaves this mode and that was just my mistake right there

But once the device is off and you hold power button and volume down, it should take you here and then just simply let go of them

Now, we will need to use volume buttons to navigate through the options that will be displayed one by one right here and we're obviously looking for the recovery mode

So it's single press down or volume down and once it's selected, press your power button and this will now take us to the recovery mode

Now, the recovery mode here is pretty limited. Using volume buttons, we want to select our desired language

I'm going to be selecting English and confirming it with power button and here are our options in the recovery mode

So we have wipe data, we have wipe user or user data partition, we have optimize upgrade data and back to main menu

Now, I am honestly guessing right here that the first option is the factory reset while the second one, I have no clue actually

Anyway, below that we have a reboot and power off which are just two ways of leaving this mode

So I'm going to select the second one, reboot, confirm it again with the power button and this will now take me back to Android
