How to Open Developer Options in SONY Xperia 1 IV - Enter Developer Mode

Hi everyone, in front of me I've got a Sony Xperia 1 Mark IV and let me share with you how to enable developer options on this device

So first of all, let's enter the settings and now we have to scroll down to the very bottom to find the about phone

Now we have to scroll down in order to find the build number, which as you can see is at the very bottom of the list

And after finding it all we have to do is to simply keep tapping on it until we will see that we are in the developer mode

Be aware that if you've got any kind of screen currently set then your device will ask you to enter it in order to confirm the whole step

So if we had the info that it has been activated then we have to go back to the general settings and enter the system

And as you can see almost at the very bottom we've got the developer options activated so let's tap

And here we've got plenty of advanced settings which we can customize

So for example we can enable the strict mode, we can show view updates, the window animation scale and the pointer location or visual feedback for tabs

Now here we've got some options which are connected to Bluetooth and overall to the networking because as you can see we've got also the options connected to USB and the Wi-Fi and so on and so on

So quite a lot of options. So basically all you have to do in order to show and enable a particular option is to simply tap on the switch on it and as you can see it will be immediately applied

Of course you can turn it off the same way. If you've got the options without the switcher, for example like here in the window animation scale, just tap on it in order to open much more advanced settings

So if you're done with customization of developer options and if you'd like to turn them off just tap on the switcher at the very top

As you can see most of the options will be inactive and after getting back to the system settings the developer options will disappear

But of course no worries, you can customize them again. Just go back to the build number step and keep tapping
