How to Insert a SIM Card into a OPPO A79 Phone

Welcome. And following me is the Oppo A79 and today I'll show you how you can insert SIM and SD card into this device

Now before we get started, you'll need to grab a SIM eject tool which will come provided with the device in the box

And it should look something similar to this one. Now if you can't find one, just use a paper clip, strain one of the ends and it should work just as well

Now from there, using the tool, you want to pop out the tray which is located on the upper left side of the device

So simply push it in and you can see that the tray will pop out enough for you to be able to just grab it and pull it out

On the tray you will have space for either two different SIM cards or one SIM card and one SD card

Now if you're planning to use dual SIM, you would place one of the SIM cards sideways like this

I am planning to use one of each so I'm going to move it over right here and pull up my SD card on here as well

And there we go. Make sure that the cards are laying flush and then carefully insert it back into your device

Carefully because there is nothing holding these cards in place so they could come out loose

There we go. Once you insert the cards, they should start working right away

So let's see if we have any notification. I guess we're going to need to navigate to settings, about device, storage

There we go. So we have our SD card. So it is being detected

Now this SIM card won't be really connecting to anything so it is going to continue to show that there is no reception

because the SIM card is already deactivated. But obviously it would start working without any additional steps needed as long as you don't have a PIN
