Welcome, I'm Fonomize ApoA16 and today I'll show you how you can copy your contacts from

the SIM card to the device. And to get started you'll want to open up the standalone contacts application

For me it's right over here, that's how it looks like. It's from Google

And once you open it up, you're presented with amazing contacts that are here

So once you open it up you want to tap on the three bars right in the corner

Navigate to settings and then at the bottom you'll find import option

Once you click on it, it gives you a pop-up letting you select where you can import contacts from

So I'm selecting obviously SIM card right here. This will show me all the contacts that are on the SIM card

As you can see I already had some contacts on the device and those contacts that were

on the device are also on the SIM card. You can see that contacts like this one, info line, my number and stuff like that are the

contacts that are already there. The reason, basically that's the reason why they are grayed out

Those contacts already exist and it gives you a message if you try to select it that

it already exists so leave those contacts alone basically. Anything else that is selected normally in blue you can deselect if you don't want

And from there select import once you have everything selected. It gives you this not very useful pop-up, remove copies from SIM card

No I do not want to do that so I'm selecting keep. Otherwise it just removes all the contacts from your SIM card and moves it to the phone

So if you format your device, you now have no contacts. Additionally you can also just import them to your Google account which resolves that

problem altogether. So anyway, now that we have imported those contacts you can see that they did appear

here as well so we have a couple more. And that is how you would copy your contacts
