Welcome and follow me as a ZTE Blade A51 and today I'll show you how you can hard reset this device
0:07
through recovery mode. Now with that being said, resetting your device to recovery mode will allow you to get rid of
0:16
a screen lock that you might not know. So as you can see I do have a pattern set right here and
0:20
I'll progress with the reset from the lock screen as though I don't know this pattern. So to get
0:27
started we want to hold our power button and then select power off. And once the device turns off
0:38
you want to hold your power button and volume up at the same time. Now let's give it a good
0:44
like 10 seconds after it looks like it turned off just so it's fully off
0:48
So hold both keys at the same time, volume up and power button
0:57
And I'm gonna let go the power button once the logo appears. And as you can see this will take us to the recovery mode. Now in here
1:06
you'll need to use volume buttons either up or down to navigate respectfully. And with that in mind you want to select wipe data factory reset, confirm it with the power button
1:15
select factory data reset. It will start formatting data at the bottom
1:25
Okay so now that it's done wiping you'll see that reboot system now is selected by default
1:30
So all you need to do is press your power button and this will initiate a reboot and continue
1:34
resetting your device in the background. Now it will take it a little bit longer to boot back up
1:38
but that's completely normal. Let it run through, do whatever it's doing without actually showing
1:42
anything and once you have your setup screen shown that's basically the indication that it's
1:49
finished resetting. So I'll be back once that is visible for me
2:03
And as you can see the process is now finished and you can set up your device however you like
2:08
Now one thing that I'll mention in addition you can see that I do have a little lock icon right
2:13
here in the corner. That means that my device is FRP locked and just to explain this a little
2:18
quickly it's a lock that shows up when you reset your device through recovery mode
2:24
without ever like providing the screen lock nor the google account. So right now while I will be
2:30
going to the setup I will need to verify one of those two things either the screen lock or google
2:35
previously on this device. Now I'm mentioning this because the next thing that I'll be recording is
2:40
how to bypass this without actually verifying it. So if that is something that you are interested in
2:45
that you need stay tuned that is literally the next thing I'm going to be recording. So anyway
