Welcome. In front of me is a T-Mobile T-phone and today I'll show you how we can hard reset
0:05
this device through recovery mode. And this process will also remove things like screen lock
0:14
so if you have one set that you just don't know, as an example I do have one right here
0:20
then you can perform this hard reset of the device and this will remove it. Now unfortunately this
0:24
will also remove all the data from your phone and if you are logged into your Google account
0:28
the device will become FRP locked. Now for the people that are interested I am going to make
0:33
also a video on how you can bypass the FRP lock but this video is just about the reset. So anyway
0:40
let's get started. I'll begin from the lock screen as though I wouldn't know my pattern
0:45
so let's just pull down our notifications, tap on the power button right here and select
0:50
power off. When the phone turns off you want to hold power key and volume up at the same time
0:59
So this will take us to the boot mode so in here you want to select the first option which
1:08
is recovery mode using only volume up and then once it's selected press volume down
1:16
When you see the Android with no command hold power key and press volume up once and this will
1:20
take us to the recovery mode. From here using both volume keys this time around you can select
1:25
wipe data, factory reset, confirm it with power key, select factory data, reset the same way
1:31
So begin formatting data and well it's already done. So let's select or technically a reboot
1:37
system is already selected so press power key and this will reboot the device and continue the
1:42
process in the background. Now this will take a little bit longer for the device to boot back up
1:46
just because it's continuing a factory resetting of the device in the background. So give it like
1:51
two to three minutes and after that we should be greeted with Android setup screen
1:56
So I'll be back once that is visible. And as you can see the process is now finished and you can set up your phone however you like
2:07
Now like I mentioned before if you already had some kind of google account the device will become
2:12
most likely FRP locked. For me it is as you can see based on this tiny little lock right here
2:16
So I'll be making right after this a video on how you can bypass this. So with that being said if
2:22
you found this very helpful don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
