Welcome and follow me as an STK light 9 and today I'll show you how you can

hard reset the device through recovery mode. Now this plus will also remove a

screen lock if you have one that you don't know. And if I lock the device you can see

that I do have a pattern set right here and I'll progress from the lock screen

as though I wouldn't know my pattern. So let's get started by holding the power

key, selecting power off and once the device turns off you want to hold power

key and volume up at the same time. So let's start right now

And as you can see it booted us into boot mode so and here using only volume up to

navigate to the option and to select the first option which is recovery mode

press volume down confirm it. And there we go as you can see we are now in the recovery mode. So this time

around we can use both of the volume keys to navigate as you can see and you

want to use those in order to select wipe data factory reset, confirm it with

power key, select yes. We'll give you a message at the bottom wiping data and

then data wipe complete at which point reboot system now will be selected by default so press power key once again and this will initiate a reboot and

continue the process in the background. This will take about two minutes to

finish up and once it has we will then be presented with the Android setup
