through recovery mode. And this process will also remove a screen lock if you have one that you don't know the

combination to. So as you can see I have a screen lock set and I'll proceed from here as though I don't

know it. To add another one we need to power off the device, so hold power key, select power off

and once it shuts off you want to hold power key and volume up

So let's do it now, power, volume up, both of them at the same time

And when you see the logo you can let go. And as you can see we're now in the recovery mode

So from here you want to select clear data which you can simply tap on it and then tap

on factory reset. And from here we need to type in yes as you can see right here, so simply type in yes

and choose factory reset. And this will begin the process here and it's a fairly quick one, it only gets like 20

or so. And there we go. So from here we're going to back out and choose restart and this will in turn also continue

the process in the background. Now this will take about a minute or two and once it's finished we should be done greeted
