So, to get started you want to open up your settings. From here, navigate down to Storage. Click on the drop-down right over here and select your

SD card, which for me is labeled Android for some odd reason, but you can see it's showing me that

it's 64 gigabytes of storage, which does correspond to my SD card. And just to kind of prove this

I am going to pop it out and put it back in, just so you can see that it will disappear. At least it should. Yep, so it's gone and you can see that it's now sticking only with the 256

Oh, there we go. So, let's go back to our SD card and in here we're going to tap on the three dots

and we can then select Format. Now, it does give us a bit of an info, so Storage

Phone, Videos, Music and more from this. Okay, that doesn't really matter

So, I assume if we press on Format, it's going to start formatting it. So, that's one way

So, it's kind of showing a weird menu, which I don't want to by mistake actually format my SD

card, which I do have data on it. As you can see, it's almost filled that I do want to keep. So

a second way that I can show off as well would be to go through Files as I just opened up

And in here we can then navigate to, let's make sure that we are selecting our SD card

There we go, Storage, Devices and I click on our SD card and we're going to click on the three dots

Storage, Settings and we have the Format option here as well and actually opens up the same kind

of menu. So, you just click right here on Format, possibly two times and this will begin formatting

your SD card. Once that's done, the card will be ready to be used once more automatically
