the device through settings. And to get started, let's open up settings

From here, scroll down all the way to system and update. Select reset, and then reset phone

This will give you a message that performing this will remove all the data from your phone

and that includes things like music, photos, files, installed apps, and so on

So if there's anything like that that you'd like to keep, back it up beforehand, otherwise

you will lose it permanently. Now assuming you have already made a backup of it, or you simply don't want to, all you

need to do is select reset phone. If you have some kind of protection on your device, you will need to confirm it

As you can see, I do have a pattern, and from here, once you confirm that pattern, it does

give you an option to back it up from here, if that is something you want to do, and it

also gives you the reset phone option, which is what you want to select to begin the process

Now this will probably take a couple minutes, so just be patient

Now once it's finished, you should be then greeted with the Android setup screen
