Welcome! In front of me is a OnePlus Nord 2T and today I'll show you how you can
0:06
boot this device into safe mode. So to get started you want to press volume up and power key at the same time
0:17
and this will bring up boot options so from here hold power off. This in turn
0:23
will bring up this window, reboot to safe mode, confirm by tapping on OK and this
0:28
will initiate a reboot which once the device boots back up it will then be in
0:32
safe mode which you should be able to see like a writing right here that will
0:36
be permanently visible in this mode. And just for the people that are wondering
0:40
what this mode is for, this mode is designed for troubleshooting your
0:45
device so if you have some kind of problems with your phone that aren't
0:49
hardware based but just software, so the device is running slow, maybe you're
0:55
getting some ads on your screen from some basically malware or whatever, you
1:00
can boot it into this mode and deal with the problem if you weren't able to do it
1:06
normally. As you can see there it is, it's written safe mode and this mode no apps
1:11
will be able to run, at least no apps that are not default to the phone and
1:18
even some of the default ones won't be able to run. As you can see Duo can't
1:22
run in this mode and you can differentiate the apps that can and
1:26
cannot run based on the fact that Duo usually is like a blue color around
1:31
with a white camera, while here it's semi-transparent grayish color. So any app
1:37
that cannot run will be this kind of color, so we have Netflix as well, we have
1:42
a couple apps right here, so Weather, Notes, Community, whatever the heck that is
1:49
Clone Phone and that should probably be accessible but whatever and yeah. Now in
1:59
your all apps tab as you can see these apps just simply don't show up, other
2:04
ones that would be here are grayed out. So anyway once we're done with this mode
2:09
and you want to go back to the normal one, what you will do is again press
2:13
the power key and the volume up at the same time, there we go, and this time around you can
2:19
select restart. This will reboot the device and once the device boots back up
2:24
it will be back in normal mode. So that being said if you found this very
2:28
helpful don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
