this phone into safe mode. Now to get started you'll want to hold power key and volume up at the same time so we can

get the boot mode or boot options. As you can see, once you press it, it almost immediately shows up

And from here you want to hold power off. As you can see, this will then change into reboot to safe mode

Do you want to reboot into safe mode? This will disable all third-party applications you have installed

So assuming you might have installed some kind of malicious application and it's causing

your device some massive problems to the point that, for instance, you cannot get rid of that application and virtually cannot use your device, as an example, which, to be fair

Google as a Play Store is quite good at removing this kind of trash, but if you somehow manage

to have this, you can boot your device into this mode. As you can see, it shows safe mode at the bottom

And from here, only the pre-installed applications will function. As you can see, not even all of them because Duo isn't working, widgets aren't working

Netflix isn't working, and probably a bunch of other applications will not launch here

So even if you try to open them up, as you can see, it gives us a pop-up, downloaded apps, disabled, and safe mode

So from here, you can, for instance, get rid of that app that was causing you some massive problems because that app will have no way of turning on or running in the background
