Welcome! And following me is a HotWiW T5 Pro and today I will show you how you can boot this device into safe mode
0:10
So to get started, hold your power button and when you have your boot options visible, you then want to hold power off
0:17
This will then change into reboot to safe mode with a quick message. Do you want to reboot into safe mode
0:22
This will disable all third-party applications you have installed. They will be restored when you reboot again
0:29
Let's click on OK, so we can initiate the reboot and like the message stated, when the device boots back up, it will automatically go to safe mode
0:38
Now in that mode, any application that you have installed yourself will be temporarily turned off and neither you nor the device can start it up
0:46
Now, in this message, it mentioned third-party applications, which would imply ones that you have installed
0:53
but that's not necessarily fully true because a bunch of applications that come
0:59
pre-installed with the device will also fall under that category. One of them, oddly, being something like widgets as an example
1:10
There we go, you can see we have a safe mode marking right here in the bottom corner
1:16
I'll just put in my SIM card pin to unlock it and widgets, you can see, don't work. If we scroll to the second page, you can see a bunch of applications are now
1:28
basically transparent. So we have things like WhatsApp, TopFox, Volume something, Opera and so on. So all these applications that are now transparent will not run and if you try to open them up
1:41
it gives you this pop-up right here that downloaded apps disabled in safe mode
1:45
So from here, you can troubleshoot your device if you had some kind of problem with an application causing you
1:50
some malfunctions with the system. When you put it into this mode, that application can no longer mess with your
1:56
device anymore and you can get rid of it from here. Once you're done with this mode and you want to go back to the normal one
2:02
all you need to do is hold your power button once again and simply select restart. The device will boot back up again and automatically go back to normal mode
2:11
So with that being said, hopefully you found this very helpful and if you did, don't forget to smash like, subscribe and thanks for watching
