Welcome, my name is Huawei Y6s and today I will show you how to set up the Do Not Disturb mode
0:12
So number one, you want to pull down the notification panel and if you don't see Do Not Disturb mode
0:16
anywhere right here, you want to tap on the pencil right here to edit all the toggles
0:20
and you should see it somewhere in here. So it's this little moon icon, you want to grab it and you can actually move it and drag
0:27
it over here and go back and now you can see that you have the toggle for Do Not Disturb mode
0:34
Now if you want to enable it manually, you can just simply tap on it like so and it will
0:40
give you the message so just tap on enable and now it will be active which you can also
0:44
see by this icon right here of the moon, that the device is in Do Not Disturb mode and to
0:49
disable you just tap on it again till it becomes grey and now it's off
0:54
Now if you want to set it up manually or automatically, so it does it basically on its own, turns off
1:00
and on, on its own at specific times, you want to hold the icon so once more you have
1:06
the icon, you want to hold it instead of tapping on it and it will take you to the settings
1:10
and from here you have the general toggle for it to turn it on or off and you have the
1:15
schedule which you can enable, you can tap on the schedule to edit it so from here you
1:20
also have repeat, from and to. So number one let's set repeat and here we have Monday to Friday, Saturday, Sunday, everyday
1:28
or custom. Custom will allow you to choose each day independently so let's just tap on it and it gives you this
1:35
checkboxes that you can enable like so. So for instance I can set up a workday without like Friday as an example so just make it
1:46
Monday to Thursday, then from as this time it starts so let's choose 9am like so and
1:56
then to I want to make it to 5pm. Okay and now let's go back and you can see that it's set all you need to do now is turn
2:05
it on and it automatically turns on the upper one because of the time it's right now almost
2:12
3pm which falls under the time for the schedule. So from here you also have allow or interruptions that you can allow through so calls you have
2:24
everyone contacts, favourite or none. Choose whichever one suits you the most
2:29
Basically what it will do is whatever you set so for instance if you have favourite contacts you have to have some contacts added to favourites and then even though you would
2:38
have Do Not Disturb mode on and normally it would block everybody, the favourite contacts
2:42
will be excluded from that and they will still be able to reach you as though you wouldn't have the Do Not Disturb mode enabled
2:49
So again choose it to no one then everybody will be blocked no matter of if there are
2:54
any contacts list in your favourite basically no one will be able to reach you
2:58
You have also the contacts option and everyone which everyone defeats the purpose of the
3:02
Do Not Disturb mode in my opinion. And then you have the messages which comes with the same options as calls and then you
3:11
have this nice option right here, repeat callers and this I would consider as an emergency
3:16
option so you can have that enabled and if someone calls you within 3 minute period twice
3:22
no matter what the calls are set to, the second time they will actually be able to reach you
3:28
even though the first time they were blocked. So you could have basically no one can reach you so no matter who they are they will never
3:37
be able to reach you but as long as they call twice within 3 minutes the second time you
3:42
will actually get the call. So like I said this is a kind of an emergency usually when people are panicking or stuff
3:47
like that they will call you multiple times within minutes of calls
3:55
So this would be a fairly good option to have if you want to be aware of some emergencies
4:03
So that is how you set up the Do Not Disturb mode and if you found this video helpful don't
