Welcome, in front of me is a ZTE Red Magic 6R and today I'll show you how you can boot this phone into safe mode

So to get started let's hold our power key. This will bring up the limited boot options right here

And once you find or see the power off which is at the very top, you want to hold it

This will then bring up a different window asking you to reboot to safe mode

Do you want to reboot into safe mode? This will disable all third party applications you have installed

They will be restored when you reboot again. So let's confirm it by tapping on OK

As you see it initiates a reboot and it will boot back up

And once it's back up, all the third party applications, meaning every app that you have installed yourself

will be turned off and you will not be able to launch it whatsoever. The app itself also will not be able to run in the background

So for instance apps like Facebook in this mode cannot do anything

They are not even allowed to run. So a very nice way to limit Facebook from being able to access your microphone and your data that you search for because it just cannot run

Now when you boot it up you can see we have this safe mode marking at the bottom

Just so you are aware that you are in this mode. And it looks like we don't have any apps, at least not that I can see, that aren't working in this mode right away

Now all the apps that you see right now for me are the default applications of this phone so I haven't installed anything myself

But if I did, usually those apps are monochrome, semi-transparent and if you try to launch them it will give you a little pop-up somewhere right here

letting you know that the third party application, it would be nice if I could talk

third party application is disabled in safe mode. So that's basically all you would be getting

And to be able to actually utilize some kind of application that you have installed all you need to do is just go back to normal mode

Now to do so all you do is again hold power key, select restart, once the device reboots it goes back to normal mode
