Welcome, in front of me is a Samsung Galaxy M13 and today I will show you how we can boot
0:15
this phone into safe mode. So to get started you want to get the boot options, so pull down your notification and
0:24
expand it. This will show you the power option right here, so you want to click on it and when
0:29
you see the power off option you want to hold it. This will then change into safe mode, telling you to tap again to restart your phone in
0:40
safe mode. Downloaded apps will be temporarily disabled to help you troubleshoot your phone
0:45
So let's click on it again to initiate that. Now what it means by troubleshooting your device is if you have some kind of problems
0:52
with it, which you cannot resolve in normal mode, you can boot your phone into safe mode
0:59
This will turn off any kind of applications that would normally run in the background, maybe cause you some problems, and you can quickly get rid of them from here
1:08
Now because of that safe mode won't be necessarily usable for like every day to day use, just
1:14
because only the pre-installed applications will work and anything else is absolutely
1:19
turned off and has no way of running, neither by itself nor by you, so it is only designed
1:27
to solve your problem and go back to normal mode. Ok, so now that the device is back on, you can see safe mode writing right here to signify
2:04
that the device is in this mode. That took a little bit longer to boot in here, so sorry for that
2:12
I'll max out the brightness a little bit. So there we go
2:25
Now once you access your applications, right here you can see that all the grey applications
2:32
like Facebook, Gboard, Opera Mini and so on, the grey ones are the apps that will not run
2:39
in this mode and if you try to open them up, as you can see, it gives you a pop-up, download it app disabled in safe mode, so you can't use it here
2:48
You can use any other app that is just still looking normally, basically each app that
2:53
came with the device itself. As you can see, these should run normally
3:10
So there we go. So anyway, that is how you boot into the safe mode and once you're done with it and you
3:15
want to go back to the normal mode, you can just pull down your notifications again, find
3:21
the power button and select restart. Once the device boots back up, it will go back to normal mode
3:30
So with that being said, if you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe
