Welcome. In front of me is a Daji S40 and today I'll show you how to boot the
0:12
device into safe mode. To get started you want to hold the power key. Once you
0:17
see the two different boot options hold power off. This will then change to
0:23
reboot to safe mode so confirm by tapping on OK and simply wait for the
0:27
device to boot back up. Now while it's rebooting I'm gonna quickly just go
0:32
over the safe mode and what's it for. This mode is strictly designed for
0:36
troubleshooting your device because basically all the apps in there, apps that you have installed yourself, will be disabled. You will not be able to
0:44
start by themselves as an autostart or you won't also be able to start them as
0:49
well. And only the applications that come pre-installed with the device will
0:55
function normally. And that is just so we can troubleshoot your device. So if you
1:02
had some kind of application that was causing you problems, draining your battery too quick or just maybe doing something that it shouldn't, you can now
1:08
boot it into safe mode and as an example if you couldn't get rid of that app you can most certainly do it right now because that app has no way of running
1:16
and stopping you from doing anything right now. See if there's any kind of
1:21
apps that I wouldn't be able to run but it looks like everything here, everything
1:27
here is working just fine. The way you know if you can actually launch an app
1:32
or not is when you're looking at the icons of an app, even though some of them
1:37
look a little bit different than like the default look, any kind of app that is
1:43
not able to run will be monochrome. So as an example if we take in consideration as
1:47
an example Chrome, if that application couldn't run it would basically be
1:50
black and white. So yeah and when you try to launch it it gives you a pop-up
1:56
at the bottom saying that you can launch this app in safe mode. So anyway once
2:01
you're done with this mode to leave it all you need to do is hold the power key once again and this time around select restart
2:12
And as you can see we're now back in Android. So if you found this video helpful
