Welcome, I'm from the Samsung Galaxy A41 and today I'll show you how to enable the power
0:10
saving mode. So to get started, let's pull down the notification panel and find the power mode, which is right
0:18
here for me. Now the position of this icon might vary a bit, so keep that in mind
0:22
But once you find it, you can hold it and this will take us to the settings of it, where
0:27
you have a couple additional ways of managing your power. When you tap on it by default, I believe it goes into the normal one, so yeah, medium
0:37
power saving mode. And you can see what it does in it, so you have turn off always on display and limit
0:44
CPU to 70% plus, drop the brightness to, well, drop the brightness by 10%
0:53
And normally it would show you also the time that it will save, but apparently it doesn't
1:00
do it now. But you can apply it from here, usually it does add a little bit of battery to it
1:08
That's nothing mind-blowing, it's about a couple of hours, so keep that in mind
1:13
Let me also disable the dark mode right now. So it looks normal as it would normally do
1:24
So you can see that this would be the medium power saving mode, which doesn't do much
1:28
The phone still looks and virtually feels like it's in the normal mode, I would say
1:34
And also the power saving that we get from it is negligible
1:39
But also seeing that there was another mode, if you hold it, you can go to it and you have
1:44
the maximum power saving mode. This one will give you significantly more battery life
1:51
And here it shows you basically the same things as it did before, so turn off always on display
1:55
limit CPU to 70% and brightness dropped by 10%, but it also does so much more, which
2:02
you will see once you tap on apply. And this mode is designed to be quite a drastic one, so you have the 70%, always on display
2:11
then restrict background data, limit number of usable apps, dark mode and background
2:17
location checks. So disable background activities, basically shuts down apps that are inactive and not
2:24
needed and also removes, as you can see, basically majority of the apps that you would normally
2:28
have on your screen. So only the most important ones are accessible
2:33
Also your notification panel is now fairly limited with only the essential toggles in
2:38
here and essential hops here. And if you go into the settings, I believe it's also limited
2:44
Yep, there we go. So you don't have much settings in here either
2:48
And the dark mode is there just to save the battery even further because of the AMOLED
2:52
display, it doesn't need to light up the black areas, only the text and well, colors of the icon
3:00
So anything that is glowing right now is whatever it needs to light up and anything that is
3:07
black is basically rendered, well, turned off. So that will save the battery too
3:12
This will give you a significant amount of battery life comparing to the previous one
3:18
So this is a case where you are going to be, I don't know, stranded somewhere
3:23
This will be a good mode to enable. And to deactivate it, all you need to do is pull down the notification panel, tap on it
3:29
once more and it goes back to normal. And there we go
3:47
So that is how you would enable and also disable the power saving mode
3:53
