enable and set up your portable hotspot. So to get started let's pull down our

notification panel straight from the top, expand it and look for the title

Okay so it took me a moment to find it but as you can see it's right over here

That's called personal hotspot. Now once you locate it, assuming you're doing this for the

first time and based on the fact that you're watching this video you most likely are

you want to hold the toggle. This will quickly take you to the settings. So from here you want

to select Wi-Fi hot or hotspot settings, right? Yep, hotspot settings and start off by changing

the password which is randomly generated every time the phone is reset. So you can remove this one

and the new password will need to have at least eight characters in length

That can be letters or numbers, it doesn't really matter. And from there you can save it. That's

primarily the only thing I recommend changing just because by default you have no way of

actually knowing what the password would be generated and also it's easier to remember

your own password. Additionally the name refers to the Wi-Fi name that this phone will create

once enabled and below that we have a couple additional settings. So we have AP band, I have a choice between 2.4 or 5 gigahertz. We have visible to other

devices. Do keep that on, it's going to simplify a lot of things. And last we have Wi-Fi 6 hotspot

Now if you have Wi-Fi 6 capable devices that can utilize this you can enable this but chances are

majority of all the people that are probably watching this will not have it, maybe not at

the moment of recording it. Wi-Fi 6 is relatively new at this point so there isn't very many devices

that utilize it. This phone is actually one of them that does utilize it, that's why we can

actually create a hotspot like this. But anyway once you have gone through all the settings and

customized them to your liking make sure you save it. And from here we can now enable our hotspot

by going back to the toggle right here and simply tapping on it. And this enables our hotspot

And one additional thing, once you're done with your hotspot I do urge you to try to remember

turn it off because hotspot does consume more battery in your phone so if you're not using it

there is really no purpose for it to run in the background. And to turn it off you just tap on
