Welcome! In front of me I have Huawei Watch Buds and I'm gonna show you how to
0:05
enable the phone notifications for this watch on the iPhone. Basically if you
0:10
want to receive the notifications from your iPhone on your watch. Before we start if you want to receive the notifications from your iPhone on
0:21
your watch your watch needs to be paired with your iPhone via the Huawei Health
0:25
application. And once the devices are paired together we can continue. And now
0:30
we need to make sure that the required permissions are allowed for your iPhone and the Huawei Health application to send the notifications to your watch. So
0:38
let's open the settings on our iPhone. In settings find the Bluetooth option and
0:45
tap on it. And here you should see list of my devices and on it you should see
0:52
Huawei W Buds and Huawei Watch Buds. Find the Huawei Watch Buds. Tap on the
0:59
info icon next to it. And here you should see the option called share system
1:03
notifications. If you see this option make sure it's enabled. If you don't see
1:07
this option close the settings for now. Open the Huawei Health application. Tap
1:15
on devices. Tap on Huawei Watch Buds right here on the list. Scroll down. Tap
1:21
on the notifications. Enable the notifications like that or turn them off
1:28
and turn them back on. And once you enable notifications wait for a couple
1:31
of seconds. Then you should see some pop-ups about permissions and allow all
1:36
of the required permissions. Then you can go back to settings. Bluetooth. Tap on the
1:44
info icon next to the Huawei Watch Buds and you should see this option. Make sure
1:49
it's enabled. Once it is go back to the main page of settings. Scroll down and
1:53
find the Huawei Health application on the list of apps. Once you find it tap on
2:01
it. And here make sure that the Bluetooth option is enabled. Once it is you can
2:05
close the settings. Open the Huawei Health application. Tap on devices. Select
2:13
your Huawei Watch Buds. Scroll down and tap on notifications. And of course here
2:21
you can enable the notifications by tapping on the switch. And once you enable notifications you can enable or disable notifications for specific apps
2:28
like Messenger and Gmail. And how it works is basically if you enable notifications for example for Gmail and you receive
2:38
the notifications from Gmail on your iPhone that notification will be forwarded to your watch. If you disable this option here you will see only the
2:46
notifications on the iPhone. They won't be forwarded to your watch. So enable the
2:51
notifications for the apps you want. Another mention is that if you don't see
2:56
the app you want to receive the notifications from on your watch you can
2:59
enable the other option right here. What this option does it enables notifications
3:03
for every app that is not on this list right here. So enable the other option if
3:08
you want to. And then you can close the app and at this point you should be able
3:12
to receive the notifications. So I'm gonna send myself a message on Discord
3:18
I didn't get the notification so I'm just gonna quickly turn on the do not
3:24
disturb mode and turn it off. And now I got it as you can see. I'm gonna send
3:30
another message for just in case. Okay now let's check on our watch. So I'm gonna wake up the screen by pressing
3:43
the side button, swipe up on the home screen to open the notification panel
3:48
and as you can see here we have our notifications. You can tap on it to open
3:52
the notifications and you can tap on them to read them. You can tap on the
3:57
icon to clear them like that and you can then press the side button to go
4:02
back to watch face if you want to. And that's how you enable the phone
4:05
notifications for this watch on the iPhone. Thank you for watching and if you
