Welcome. And for now I'm using Xiaomi Mi A3 and today I will show you how to copy contacts
0:10
from SIM to the phone. And to get started you want to open up the contacts app. So I mean like the
0:17
standalone contacts which you can find right here. If I remember correctly you can also access
0:22
contacts through right here which this won't have the option that we're looking for. So going back
0:28
open contacts and from here if you have option to log into Google you can just skip it if you
0:34
don't feel like it. Basically we want to tap on three bars up there and go into the settings and
0:39
scroll all the way down to import. And from here you have two options but because we want to do it
0:45
from the SIM card so that's what we're going to choose SIM and you get the list of all the contacts
0:50
that are located on the SIM card. So select each one that you want. By default they're all selected
0:56
so you can basically deselect the ones that you don't want. And as an example I'm just gonna copy
1:00
one which is the totally real number and once you have it selected all you need to do is just tap
1:05
on the check mark and once some contact imported and that's basically it. Now if we go into the
1:10
phone and contacts you can see that there is one contact which is the one that we have just
1:15
imported. Now going back to what I was talking about before with the when you tap on import you
1:21
also have the VCF file. Before for instance if you have contact list already you can
1:30
export contacts and you can basically export them to VCF file. I believe for that you would
1:36
actually need to be logged into Google to be able to export it because I think Google
1:41
will want to keep it on their you know side so they have all your contacts for no reason
1:47
But you can also use that once you create the VCF file to basically email it as a totally normal
1:53
file so it just you can attach it to any kind of email and keep it on your email inbox and
1:59
when you need it you can open it up on any kind of device. So yeah so that would be how you would
2:05
copy contacts and if you found this video helpful don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
