And today I will show you how you can copy contacts from a SIM card to the device

So to get started, we're going to open up our standalone contacts application

Once you open it up, you want to navigate to Fix and Manage and then Manage a SIM

This will display all the contacts that are located on the SIM card. By default, they should all be selected as long as none of these contacts already exist

on the location where you want to import them to. So in my case, that's my Google account and all of these contacts already exist there

So the device is automatically deselecting these contacts and graying them out so I don't

create duplicate versions of it. But if I change it to something like the device in here, as you can see, all the contacts

become selected and I can import all of them. Additionally, I can deselect some of the contacts that I might not want

Then we can select Import. This will import all selected contacts and then also ask us about backing it up

I'm going to keep it off. And now when we go back to our contacts list, most likely if you have a Google account and

you chose to import it to your device, you will not see the contacts here. So what you will need to do is click right here where we have our contacts logo, or not

contacts, a Google logo. And you will see that now we have a new option called Device, and when you select it, it

will show you contacts that are located on your device. So there we go
