Welcome, everyone, this is Cyrus CS40 and today I'll show you how to copy contacts from your
0:12
SIM card to the device. And to get started, let's open up the contacts standalone app
0:19
as it is right here. And as you can see, you will see contacts that are already on your phone
0:26
but you can also see that there is a little icon next to the letter, and that is to signify that
0:31
they are located on your SIM card. So if you were to remove that SIM card, those contacts would just
0:37
simply disappear. Now, to transfer those contacts onto your phone, you want to tap on the three
0:45
dots and go to import, export, copy contacts from, so let's select SIM, tap on next
0:53
copy contacts too. Now, for me, I have only one option, but if I were logged in
0:57
for instance, my Google account, the Google account would be also an option. So I'm going
1:04
to choose with the phone, obviously, tap on next, and here you have a list of all the contacts that
1:09
are on the SIM card. So you can select every contact or, for instance, just a couple that you
1:15
might want to keep. However many it is, it's completely up to you. Once you have selected
1:20
them, tap on OK. And as you can see, you'll get a notification, copy contacts successful
1:30
copy three contacts, and now those three contacts should be visible without any kind of SIM icon
1:38
next to the letter. As you can see, for instance, with the contact right here, right here, and right
1:43
here. So there is only three of them. And if I were, like I said, to take out the SIM card, which
1:49
I can do that right now, as an example. That's something I can quickly get it out of there
2:00
There we go. So if I'm going to open contacts now, you can see that rest of the contacts just
2:07
disappeared, and there's only three. But that is how you would copy contacts from the SIM card to
2:14
the device. And if you found this video helpful, don't forget to like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
