How to Copy Contacts From SIM Cards on POCO F5 Pro - Duplicate Contacts

Welcome, in front of me is a Poco F5 Pro and today I'll show you how you can copy your contacts from the SIM card to the device

So to get started you will need to open up the standalone contacts application

I'm gonna swipe up and look for contacts. Which for me is right over here

Once it's open, simply navigate to fix and manage at the bottom and then select import from SIM

Which will then show you all the contacts that are located on the SIM card. Now as you can see for me it only selected one contact from this list and that is because it tries to import contacts to the Google account because I am logged into an account

But if I tap down here and select device as you can see all the contacts automatically become checked and I can import all of them

So what happens is the phone is just stopping me from duplicating the contacts because all of them were already on this Google account

You can obviously deselect contacts yourself if you don't want all of them and from there select import

It asks us this dumb question if we want to keep or remove SIM contacts. Regardless I recommend keeping them because they never get in your way

You don't get to see them if you don't want them. And if something would ever happen where you need to just swap out a SIM card because your phone breaks you will always have your backup of contacts on your SIM card

Which is just a safeguard that is there, never gets in your way

So keep. Now I'm going to keep the backup off. So once we have imported the contacts if I go back to contacts we are or I am at least still on the Google account

So I can tap right over here because I did import my contacts to the device. I can click right here device and this will show me all the contacts that have imported to the device

Obviously I can also select the SIM card or go back to the Google account which has all these contacts anyway
