In front of me is a Rode Gear RG655 and today I'll show you how to copy contacts from your

SIM card to the device. And to get started, let's go into our contacts app, the standalone version of it

From here, on the top on the three bars, go to settings, where you should be able to see

the bottom, import and export option. Now obviously we're interested in importing them, so that's what I'm going to select

And once you tap on it, it gives you an option where you can import your contacts from. So VCF file, this is something that you can create

This contains basically all your contacts, along with additional information that SIM

card can't contain. As an example, photos, birth dates and any kind of like field that you can add normally

in your contacts list. And then just a SIM card, which is what I'm going to be using unfortunately, so I'm going

to select. Once you tap on OK, it will show you all the contacts that are on the SIM card and also

disable you from being able to import contacts that already exist on your phone, or in this

case I guess on the Google account. As you can see, another thing is that right now it's being saved to Google account, but

I can also change it to be saved to the device instead, at which point the two contacts become

checkable. So choose where you want to save those contacts to. The benefit of a Google account is whatever you log into, whatever device you log in on

So anyway, from here, disable, enable, keep the contacts that you want to import checked
