Welcome! In front of me I have Garmin Vivoactive 5 and I'm gonna show you how to change the step goals on this watch

Before we start if you want to check or rather change the step goals on this watch

your watch needs to be paired with a phone via the Garmin Connect application

And once the devices are paired together we can continue and now we can open the Garmin Connect application on the phone that is paired

with our watch. And once you open the app you should see my day page and on it you should see steps category

Tap on the steps category. Why did it turn sideways? Come on, change the orientation please. Okay, here we have it

And that's how it should look like. And we have a goal right here

And if you want to change the goal, you should see the edit goal button in the top right corner. Tap on it and

here you can enter new value for the step goals. And then you can tap on save to save it

You can also enable auto goal option if you want for the goals to adjust automatically based on your step activity

And once you're done tap on save. And as you can see the goal is saved. And if you go to your watch

and check the step widget it should be updated. But first I believe we need to force sync the devices. So let's sync them together

Okay and once it's done syncing the settings should be applied. So let's check now
