device through recovery mode and also remove a screen lock if you have one that you for

instance don't know. So let me quickly lock the device and you can see that I do have a pattern set right

here and I'll progress from the lock screen as though I don't know my pattern

So we're going to begin by powering off our device. Let's try that again

There we go. Now once the device turns off you want to hold power key and volume down at the same

time on both of the keys and when you see the RealMe logo you want to let go of the

power key. There we go. Keep holding volume down

And this will bring you to the recovery mode. So from here simply tap on the language that you wish to use

Then select wipe data. As you can see even though I do have a pattern it tells me just to put some kind of pin that

is randomly generated and you can see it right here. Now for you it will be obviously different

It changes every single time you access the wipe data section. So as an example for me it's 5379

If I go back and again tap on it now it's 2132 as you can see

So anyway I just need to type it in. So 2130. Once I press the 2 it will begin

Now additionally I'll mention one other thing. If you type it in too quick it will just kind of miss whatever you were typing as an example

As you can see I just pressed like four different things and it only accepted about 3 or 2

So yeah just keep that in mind. So 2132 and from here simply tap on format data

Select the format which is just barely visible right here in the red

It will begin the process. Now give it a second. This only takes, well yeah, as you can see a couple seconds

From here it gives you wipe successful. Click on the OK which is below that and this will initiate a reboot and continue the process

in the background. Now this will take a little bit longer than you probably used to for the device to boot

back up but once it's finished you will then be presented with the Android setup screen
