do is pop in a SIM card with a pin. Now lock the device just so I don't press

SIM tray which is right at the top. I go. So once you insert a SIM card you should in the second see this

And like I said it doesn't need to have a pin on it. That is because once you actually enter

From here, you're going to scroll all the way down to system, reset options, delete all data, factory reset

It needs to be done to actually fully unlock the device, but I'm not going to go through it strictly just for time's sake

All it does is performs a factory reset of the device, brings you back to the setup screen where you can then set up your device however you like

It will be fully unlocked so you can do whatever you want with it. Can connect or skip connecting to Wi-Fi

add your Google account, and all that stuff. It's just a normal setup at that point. So that's why I'm not going to go through it
